I have all of Glenda's Dis kits and use them all the time... That's my post in the comments section asking for a DCL Cruise kit LOL

I happen to think these papers
haynay_FTBS_JumpAddOn_preview_72.jpg

which coordinate with the Digitreats Jump kit are awesome for Playhouse Disney pics and POP century pics (or any other bightly colored Disney venue!). Haynay is actually a new member here on the DIS, maybe we can convince her to make us some more fun Disney-ish stuff!! Here is a link to Haynay's papers and Digitreats.

Oh My, what a compliment. I just saw this....I will definately consider doing this....we'll see what comes to me next. I'll let everyone know if I do! Thank you again for the compliment!

Haynay I have to second this I love the stuff you have done.

i want to make a LO for the challenge and I got the pastel Ear Papers from somewhere and I can't find out where I got them from....

Oh no! How do You give Credit when you can't find where you got it from--- Good Lord! I gotta keep track of this stuff!

anyone know? the pastel papers - some with stars, some with ears and some with dots???

Don't stess -- it happens all the time. We just do our best... When I don't know the designer for something, I just list it with ???? in my credits list.... If someone knows the designer, they will usually respond in the thread. :) I'm not sure which papers you are talking about, but might recongize them when I see them.....

As she said, just do your best, you will find a system that works for you in no time! What I do when I use something that I don't know where it came from, is put the file name in my credits, in case someone knows and tells me. Also, if you can tell from the filename part of the designer or kit name, you can google it to try to find the whole kit or designer name.

I LOVE it when the designer names the files like this (designer_kit_name.ext) it really helps me out! lol

It blows my mind away that all designers don't do that in their file naming. Not only does it help giving credit, but it would help with piracy issues as well.

Just a note to let you know I have a new Disney freebie on my site. However, I can't post the link yet because I don't have enough posts on the message board. Can someone go to my blog and post it here for me with a photo?

Thanks! And enjoy!

I guess I'm going to have to break down and install something to open a rar file! ;)

Hi all,

Are we allowed to use this thread to tell you about kits that we have available in stores? I don't want to break the rules.

Oh, and thanks to all that were praying for me. I got through the camp full of 113 9-10 year olds. Actually..... I remembered why I started doing it. Just seeing their little faces so eager to learn made it all worthwhile.

I'll add my 2 cents worth in on the discussion about designers' names on files(and get me another post...I'm working up to being allowed to link in my messages.)

Before I became a designer I would have agreed 100% with the Sconnell about naming files so people know who made them.

Then I became a designer and got really lazy! I don't mind if someone doesn't credit me in a layout. Of course it is wonderful when they send people my way! And I like seeing my name as much as the next person  but don't sweat it if you don't remember.

It's great you want to credit the person, but you aren't claiming the work as your own so do like DisneyCruiser2008 says and just put ????.

That's how I feel anyway...from a designer's view point. Of course my stuff is free. Maybe if I charged for it I might feel different.

Hi all,

Not really. That is considered advertising. I think it is OK if you post your own freebie links, but paid kits are a different story. Of course, most of us stalk the blogs of you designers that we "know", so it doesn't take long for your stuff to show up here if we know about it!! ;) I also try to make sure to post all the Disney-ish kits I find on my blog, too.

I just got this comment on my blog...

I know there are a ton of digi designers who use Disney images... what is YOUR opinion?

I hate to be a party pooper, though, but Disney is VERY litigious. I've studied cases in my copyright training sessions of individuals and businesses that were slapped with hefty fines for using their images. They don't care whether it's for profit or not...they can still impose fines upwards of $100,000 per copyright infringement (which is what this is).
Not wanting to rain on your parade...just wanted you to be aware, because I'd hate to see any digiscrapper (especially the generous ones) get slammed by Disney (who, IMO, needs to loosen up on their regs).
