Midnite - Is there a Swan Resort in the works??? Pretty please and thank you. No hurry. :flower:

I'm going to be doing them all :crazy2: Basically, in alphabetical order.

Thank you Triplefigs it looks great.!!

Midnite do you think when you are done with the ones you are doing now (if that happens you busy girl!) that maybe you could do the 3d Mickey head with the other parks in it. Epcot, MGM & AK as there is already a castle one?

Yeppers!

Also, I relinked all the Customized so anyone who wants one can download it.

Thanks for the tip about uncompressing the graphics in AOL to enable me to save the designs as JPEGs. It worked like a charm! I figured the problem was with AOL but had no idea where to start (and no time to start looking :confused3 ). Thanks a bunch!!
You are most welcome! I am just paying it forward. I have learned soooooo much new techie stuff from fellow DISers! As I learn, my signature grows!! :earboy2:

I had other plans for our trip name but it may become operation dumbo now. ;) You would think a 40 something man would get over it, but he really wants to ride dumbo. We saw no point because it was an hour wait for a lame ride and he did not speak up. My DH said we should print that on a pink shirt and make him wear it. :Pinkbounc
That was lol funny! :rotfl2:

You don't know how you have just helped me. I could not figure out what the problem was and you solved it for me. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You
You are welcome too! My DH will laugh when I show him these nice comments. . .that I helped someone with a computer question! I have about a 15 second window of patience with computers before :badpc: so I feel your frustration!!!

I LOVED the Beach Club and Boardwalk. I am waitlisted for both, but currently have my ressie at SSR, so I can't wait to see your SSR.
For the acronym challenged, what resort does SSR stand for? What do you mean you're on a waitlist?

Julia & Nicks Mom-fantastic idea on the daily cards. How old were your kids when you first used this idea? Would an 18 mo. get anything out of it?

Karebear1
Minnie Mouse Mom
-thank you for the clipart request (see, you helped back already :) ) and the response post.

SSR = Saratoga Springs Resort

Waitlisted most likely means she's a DVC (Disney Vacation Club) owner and while she has reservations at SSR, she REALLY wants to be at Beach Club or Boardwalk, so she's asked to be put on the waitlists there, just in case anything comes available. :)

I just sent you an email

also - since I know you are all the types of moms who would LOVE this - this is Julia's autograph book:

I preprinted the cards - it was a great icebreaker with the characters and they LOVED that their pictures were on the cards - we took some blank ones for characters we didn't expect to see and I printed them once I got home

What size cards did you use for those? Thanks!! :wave2:

MidNite-These resorts are fantastic! How long does it take you to do a design-start to finish? I have a feeling I am still opening a file in the time it takes you to whip one up! :sunny:

I'm sure someone sorted out the graphics filter a few pages back - are you using AOL?

I hadn't even paid attention to this post, because at the time I didn't have the problem and I don't have AOL. I went back and tried to use what they said on mine (comcast), but I still can't figure it out. Oh, well, if anyone can help...

Katie - Thanks for the interpretation! All was true and correct!!!

I printed the scrapbook cards on a 6x6 piece of paper before I left - with the names and pictures

I carried them around with me in a plastic baggie with sharpies - I took them everywhere -once we got a signature it stayed in the room -

when I got home I then made the photo part with my digital pictures and printed them on the computer

Julia looks at it everyday

this last trip - I made the cards 4x6 and bought a Disney album that holds 4x6 photos - I put the card before the pictures of them signing them - this was the cheaper and easier route to go - but I LOVE the other one more - so for this trip we are going back to the 6x6 pages - I also bought a small clipboard for the pages - this helped the characters sign the pages

I used to sell them on ebay and have a program set up to merge the characters together with the names but the first time I did it - it took forever to find all the clipart - but so worth it!!! The characters also just loved the pages - they definatley increase character interaction!!

for the cards - I used them last year for the first time - Nick was one and Julia 3 - Nick may not have appreciated the cards - but he liked the presents!! :earboy2: and they will go in our scrapbook - notice I said will - I can do the computer stuff no problem - it is the scrapbooking I can't seem to sit down and do!

I did it, I did it!!!! :cheer2: I finished my first t-shirt design. I created a shirt for my DS's 10th Birthday. I figured he could where it to school and to his birthday party.

I borrowed the idea from Julia & Nicks Mom by using characters from finding Nemo. And I borrowed the idea for the badge from DisneyFreq. Thank you so much.

I know that the information for posting pictures to this thread has been explained before. I'd appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction. I'd like to pay it forward for all the help.

Excuse OT but, Beiji- I see you'll be at MVMCP on 12/20. We'll be there for our first ever. I'll be wearing your lime green Mickey on my sleeve. :cool1:

Thanks so much everyone.

Congrats on finishing your first shirt! And that's so cool that you'll be at MVMCP with Mickey on your sleeve. Will it have your screen name on it? I'll probably have an "It's my birthday" pin on and maybe a Diser pin I've been working on.

Thanks, but the credit goes to J&N's Mom. :worship: She made the original, I just added a few more Villains to the shirt. It's her design, not mine. I'm just good at "tweaking"! ;)

Thanks for the info. I think I may try this as my DD3 was afraid of the characters last year. She says she wants to get an autograph book this time like her big brother did, but I don't know, I think she still might be afraid. Maybe this will give her incentive to go up to them. Brilliant idea.
