We were at LTT the same time as you were and Chip was awesome! I told the CM with him/her that he/she was the best we'd ever encountered. Chip is DS's favorite and Dale came by twice, but no Chip. Finally toward the end of the meal Chip came and I told him that DS had been eagerly waiting for him. Well, DS was dressed as a pirate and there was a girl one table over dressed as a pirate also. Chip pulled her up and started sword fighting with her then pulled DS in front of him to "protect" himself. Then he fought with DS a little, then lots of hugs and lots of pictures. He came back a few times also. He was great!

Hmmmm...maybe now I know why it took Chip so long to come to our table

Chip was the best ever. When he dropped the napkin, made tinker1bell's sister pick it up and then started kissing her behind the napkin... it was a pixie dust moment. The best.

No, my Dad was stationed there in the Army. I had dual citizenship until 18. DH makes fun of me 'cause I can't sing Springstein's Born in the USA~! And I don't remember any of it. We came back to the States when I was 2.

I was so guessing this was the case. I knew someone in jr. high and high school who was born in Germany because their parents were in the army.

I gave up on the dh getting what I want. So now I go to the store, buy what I want and hand him the bag to wrap it. I must confess though that I asked him to give my car a complete tune up, get new snow tires and have it reconditioned. He did the tune up, had it reconditioned (it looks and smells awesome) and bought the tires (he has not however put them on yet ) He is an auto technician by trade so you'd think that he'd want my car in tip top shape, but that is not the case. Men, you can't live with them and you can't shoot them.

I just can't do that. I have too many years invested and too many years ahead of me to settle! What fun is there in opening a present which I picked out and shopped for??????? It's not like I don't give him hints etc.

I don't think it's so much to ask! We don't usually buy gifts for each other on our anniversary. (I would like flowers and a card.) We set a limit for Christmas cuz we usually get a family gift. (I am INCHES from getting Tivo!!!) Oh, Valentine's Day, I want a card and a piece of lingerie. (a present for both of us!)

So ... basically it's my birthday. Come on! How difficult can it be to buy a gift for ONE occasion each year??!?!?!

Where did you get that Christmas tree?? It is really cute. I really wanted the ceramic snowglobe tree at the Disney Store. It was originally $88, I didn't buy it the first time I saw it and of course they didn't have any the next time I went. The only one I have seen since is the metal snowglobe tree, where the snowglobes hang from disneyshopping.com. Yeah well I guess I will have to wait until next year.

Those both sound like heaven! I made a gingerbread trifle for Christmas day, and it was so hard to watch my family eating it, and not be able to have a bite. I'm really craving something sweet right about now. DH usually stuffs my stocking with orange sticks and other chocolates, so it's been really difficult.

Recipes:
Chocolate Raspberry cheesecake delight

SF Raspberry Jello
1 cup boiling water
4 oz. cream cheese cut into pieces
1 oz. unsweetened Chocolate
3/4 cup cold water
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Stir in cream cheese. Add melted chocolate. Pour into blender and blend well. Add cold water and cream. Mix in blender for at least 2 minutes. Pour into dishes and refrigerate until firm. (serves 4 @ 4.1 carbs each). I use disposible plastic cups as my dishes.


Pudding Frozen Dessert

8 oz. soft cream cheese
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/2 pkg SF vanilla pudding
4 pkts Splenda
2 caps fruit flavored extract

Whip together and spoon into cake decorating bag with large tip (or use baggie and cut one corner off). Make plops about cookie size on wax paper lined cookie sheet. Freeze, then transfer to container and keep in freezer. (makes 30 @ 1.2 carbs each)


Frozen Chocolate Kisses

1 cup heavy cream, whipped
6 oz soft cream cheese
2 T sour cream
1/8 cup cream & 1/2 cup water
pkg SF/FF instant chocolate pudding

Whip 1 cup cream, set aside. In separate bowl, cream cream cheese, add sour cream and cream and water. Mix well. Stir in pudding powder and blend well. Fold into the whipped cream. Using a pastry bag (or baggie with corner cut off) make hershey kiss sized plops onto a sheet pan covered with wax paper. Place in freezer til solid, then store in freezer. (Makes 150 for .3 carbs each)

Hi DDA Friends!!

Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa and Happy Hanukah to all!! I haven't been on DDA nor posted since before Thanksgiving. With the new home for our board, I hope I'm posting these photos in the right place!

Here are some photos of DBF and I in various designs on a couple of recent trips to WDW. A GREAT BIG THANK YOU!!!!!!!! to Kate, Denise and Kevin for their designs.

Here I am in one of Kate's designs for my birthday. The Mickey head says Jennifer. I'm standing at World of Disney wearing the Princess "santa" hat I eventually bought.

Here is DBF in the birthday design Kate made for him. He is at Coronado Springs next to a Christmas Village.

Here I am in the "right pair of shoes can change your life" design from Kate. I wear this sweatshirt all the time, even around Dallas. Everyone loves it!! Castmembers stopped me all the time to read it and say "isn't that the truth!" In this photo, I am with the reindeer outside of the Grand Floridian.

Here is my friend Jonette in a design Kevin customized for her. Since she has red hair, I asked him to give Cinderella red hair too! Jonette and Leif (that's him with her in the photo at Whispering Canyon restaurant at the Wilderness Lodge) are getting married in Epcot in 2006. Now that I have introduced her to custom t-shirt making, she is brimming with ideas for designs to make for her flower girls and ring bearer for the wedding. Some of the designers might hear from her with requests, or she might post her own new designs. She's usually on the wedding board. Rosiejo will know her as a fellow DFTW bride.

Santa brought me a digital camera for Christmas, so hopefully my future photos will be better quality and I'll be able to post them more quickly.

They all were rather quick at our lunch there too. Fairy Godmother was great! We didn't have an autograph page for her (lack of planning on my part) so she went and found a piece of paper and came back later with a sig for each of my kids. She was really sweet. Mary Poppins there was good too.

Same here. I will not do the Castle again (even if there wasn't a price increase). The service was TERRIBLE!!!! The food was nothing special and is was merely warm when it came out. By the time we got to eat after the princesses zipped around us - it was basically cold. I was NOT impressed.

On the other hand, we had breakfast at "Ohanas and I cannot say enough good things about it!
