Okay, I'm done with my personal posting party! :teeth:

Today, I have to make turtles for my dad. Keep your fingers crossed that Alyssa can keep herself entertained while I'm knee-deep in pecans, caramel, and chocolate!

Amy :)

And for me, too, right? I still haven't received those peanut butter balls. Should I be watching the mail this week?! :rotfl:

Ok, my few minutes are up. I'm off to church and then home to study..... have a good day everyone!

Deb - the design is cute! I have always loved that clipart! :goodvibes

Kate - glad Julia is ok. I definitely agree.... it's a very cute display, but not worth the wait sometimes!

Kate, Amy and Kevin -- did you all hear about the house in Mason that was synchronized to lights. My mom watched a video online and said it was "very Disney" :)

My cousin in Minnesota and another in New Orleans sent us an email about it before we even heard about it.... it was on their news :earseek:

... we live here and didn't even know it existed until they did! It has since been closed down because of traffic! :guilty: Do we hear another "______ Famliy Spectacle of LIghts" coming on? :rotfl:

I'll get my mom to send me the video so you can all enjoy it.

Hey... just found out that video of that house (above) has been posted on the CB for a while. This is a really good quality though, if you're interested. Also, if you haven't seen it... you should :goodvibes

I posted thi son the Resorts Board and, although people are reading it, no one is responding!

We have rooms reserved with the BRP so naturally there is a balance due on all of them. We have never had this happen before! What methods of payment does WDW accept when you check in? I assume Credit Card, Debit Card, Traveler's Checks, Cash. Do they also take personal checks?

I knew one of my DDA friends would know this answer :goodvibes

holy cow!!! When I went to bed thur. we were on page 1114 I got ready to start reading and we hve 1172 pages. I thought i asked you guys not to post so much :rotfl2:

I am trying to catch up, only on page 992, but wanted to share my news with my bestes friends here on this thread. After 7 years and 1 miscarriage, I got a positive on my pregnancy test this morning. If you have any advice to share, I could use it. This is my second pregnancy and if it works out my first child. Whew, I will be 37 when he/she will be born.

we started with dinner at BW3's - it iwas delightful until I looked over at where Julia was playing and she was gone - we were at the section above the bar and it was seperated by a platform high step and a railing - hanging from the railing was a banner - that must have looked like a wall to my DD - who leaned on it and promptly fell into the bar - hitting her head - she sobbed for a good long while but thankfully no bump and she was coherent

Ouch! I sure hope Julia is ok today. How scary!

Glad Julia is OK. That sounds like an exciting way to start the evening.

Yep, we made it to the mall as well. It was more like 5:00 after everyone in the house finished their naps.

The first stop was our second visit with Santa for the day.

I, however, was not aware that TDS had a buy one get one free toy sale going on. I found out quickly. (We obviously cannot go to the mall without stopping in.) Amy is looking over my shoulder informing me that SHE was well aware of the sale as it was posted on this very thread. I guess I need to read more carefully. We walked out spending $60. Alyssa now has six of the Disney Princess dolls. Amy would not let me buy all eight that were there. I'll convince her to get Pocahontas and Mulan eventually. And then we will have to find Tinkerbell and Esmeralda to complete the set.

After that it was on to a graduation open house, home to watch JoJo and now Amy is REALLY wrapping presents. No kidding!

How cute! And Esmerelda and Tink are the only 2 BK is missing. Did TDS not have them? They're in the catalog. Maybe I need to order quick!

Hey guys! Keep on keepin' it slow tonight, PLEEEEEEASE?! :rotfl:

Our "Disney Dinner" was a lot of fun. Hopefully some day I can post pictures and a pre-trip report or something about it.

Cassi literally didn't believe we were flying for a few solid minutes. She just thought I printed her out a small version of a shirt design or something (which it was) and that was it. My mom was like, "Aren't you excited?!" And she said, hesitantly, "Yeah" (with this goofy smile). When we finally convinced her she was really flying, she couldn't stop bouncing around all night!

We played the wonderful world of music game with no incorrect cards, by the way :)

I'm EXHAUSTED, and have a long day with church and studying tomorrow. I'll try to post more details, etc, but it may be after the trip :guilty:

Goodnight! :goodvibes

How fun. Can't wait to see the pictures!

I saw something really strange today at the mall. My DS5 and I were standing in line to see santa and a lady walks up behind us and there is something in her shirt/bra (she had on a low cut top). At first it thought it was some kind of animated toy she had put there to draw attention to her ****s but --- It was moving and you could see its tongue moving in and out kind of like a cats, Anyway I said OMG what is that. SHE HAD THREE BABY MONKEYS in her bra. The little head I could see was about the size of a 1/2 dollar.

She said she raises them and they only get to be 1 pound each. Can't remember what she called them but they were absolutely adorable. COST $2000 dollars OUCH.

She said she has to keep them close to her body for the first four weeks of their life so they would survive so she keeps them in her bra.

A friend of mine at Victoria Secrets said she came in and bought a couple of oversized bras. HOW STRANGE IS THIS!!!

I have always wanted a monkey for a pet. My DH said NO WAY. LOL

Getting her "holly jolly's" from the monkeys!

Vermont has the no smoking in restaurant law which is awesome. I used to hate smelling like cigarettes after a shift. We were really busy tonight too. We had 5 large parties and 3 unexpected large parties walked in. We had 3 bartenders so it wasn't bad. I can't tell you how many Long Island Iced teas and margarettas we made tonight. Quite a few strawberry daquiries too. I must say that they were pretty good  I had a little too much in the blender for the glass so I had to take care of my mistake :teeth: Or was it?

Deb

Georgia just passed a state wide no smoking ban in all public buildings including restaurants.

Yes they take checks, but it will add an additional 30 minutes to your check in time while they call the bank to make sure the check is good.

I'd just use my credit card. For my son's room, since hew as staying at a different resort (WL) and we were at the Poly, Ijust paid for his room a couple of nights before. I showed the Poly concierge my AP, as the WL wanted to see it. They called and all was well in the world..... :cloud9:
