Well, we had a busy morning, but are now back and I uploaded my pictures. They just couldn't believe that Santa was actually going to send them to Disney. I need to nip this though so they don't think it will happen every year. Thanks to all of you for your input and ideas. A huge thanks to Kate as well for her ingenious poems and designs! You all have made this a very special trip for us. I couldn't have done it without you.

Tammi -- thanks for sharing the pictures! I am told I was QUITE afriad of Santa, but never any other character, etc. I think it's the beard, because my grandpa had one and I was terrified of him, too!

I am the luckiest mom in the world!!!

Julia is so much fun - she put on her snow white costume and told me she needs and apple - I just went in and she was laying on the floor asleep with the apple in her hands

she then told me she would act out snow white for me - she takes one big bite of her apple dramatically drops it and falls dramatiicall to the ground ending up laying face up with her hands neatly folded across her chest -

she is destined to be an actress someday!!

I'm jealous that she does solo scenes. Terra loves to act out scenes from the Charlie Brown specials. However, they are always 2 person scenes where I am supposed to be the 2nd person. I blow my lines everytime! I figure it's sad when a 2yo is feeding your lines. I will say that there is nothing cuter than a not quite 3yo saying "Funny thing about this document. It was never notorized." (The final line in the football scene of Great Pumpkin.)

Well, we had a busy morning, but are now back and I uploaded my pictures. First we went to Church & RE, then off to our party. Alyssa is still petrified of Santa and wouldn't go near him. I think I am going to still have that same problem in WDW, unless it is a face character. So here is what happened:

Nicholas was unable to completely read it, except for the "small" words, so I read it to him. When we got to the part where it says our plane leaves on Saturday, he said "Can we go today?" I don't know if I will be ready to go on Saturday, let alone today!! Anyway, they are both thrilled to pieces and I think it is going to be a VERY long week filled with anticipation and excitement. They just couldn't believe that Santa was actually going to send them to Disney. I need to nip this though so they don't think it will happen every year. I'm so glad to hear that everything worked out so well. Terra is like Julia - she will see every character there is, but not Santa. In fact, when she was younger, she would see Mickey and all of the other costumer characters, but not the face characters. So there is always hope.

Besides, I've got to have some idea in mind to combat Terra's continual litany of the things she is going to do next time at Disney World. Of course her next time ranges anywhere from next year to next week to after breakfast, to "in firty minutes".

Can the computer gurus help me?

The left click on my mouse doesn't seem to be working. Wouldn't be a big deal, but this is the touchpad on my laptop.

I can't get to my start button to try and check on my mouse. Is there anything to do other than hook up an external mouse and try to fix this? Do they sell a mouse that uses a USB port? I don't have a hook up for a mouse on this laptop.

Any ideas?

DH said since we're going after the kids get out for Christmas vacation next year to up the trip to 6 nights! Woo Hoo! Let the planning begin.

BTW, just finished ironing the shirts. They did well, but the dark transfer paper looks brand new. I will use it for ALL shirts next time. And the shirts with 5% spandex in them did great too, so that doesn't seem to be a problem with the good paper.

With your laptop can you do a double click on the touch pad, on any laptop I have had this acts as a left click. Also try to restart your computer to see if that might solve the problem.

As to not being able to get to the start on your laptop. Check your keyboard for a symbol that looks like a window with a kind of banner thing behind it. On a standard keyboard it is on the lower left hand side in between the ctrl and alt keys. Although on a laptop it could be on the right hand side near the top or anywhere in that area or in the standard place or just about anywhere.

They do sell USB mice or a mouse for computers.

If none of this works let me know. I might come up with something else.

Thanks for your help. After a bunch of playing around, it works all of a sudden. Computers were invented by and built by men. I just know it.

Well, I have to go finish up the food. We have DS11's Boy Scouts Court of Honor at 5:00 p.m. and DH volunteered us to make Baked Beans and homemade mac and cheese. The BB are done and the mac and cheese is in the oven right now. I need to get everyone ready to go.

No, the DS didn't have Tink and Esmeralda. They did have Pocohontas and Mulan, but considering we won't be giving these to Alyssa until NEXT Christmas, I didn't think we needed them all!
