Hi, DDA fans! We're home. I'm working on pictures and the end of our trip report. Would everyone summarize what's happened in the past 8 days for me? There's no way I'll make it through all those posts. And let me know who was making fun of me too!

Trip was FABULOUS, but I am glad to be home.

Randall or Rebecca?

I personally like Rebecca -

While impressed with Randall - I think he is not a go getter - I think he has flown under the radar and I haven't really seen him put himself on the line

Rebecca has passion to me though - I can't imagine how hard this must be for her with a broken foot!!

for their tasks - Randall seems clueless and Rebecca seems to have a good plan in place- but what is up with not asking people at a fundraiser for money!? also if Joe Piscipo doesn't show - how is that her fault - how could she have EVER forseen something like that happening?

How could Randall be that off on the weather forecast and how can he have no rain plan?!?!

Has anyone been to the Disney on Ice Princess show? I got my secret squirrel presale code in the mail today and am trying to decide whether to go.

We went when it came to Alabama. We had decided not to go because it was a week after we returned from our Disney trip, but after seeing all the commercials we changed our minds. My 2 DD loved it. We were glad we went. My 4year old was disappointed that Cinderella did not come and talk to her like they do on TV. She also though because Cinderella gave her a present when she had breakfast at her castle that she would find her in the crowd. Oh Well! Spoiled Disney girls!!! If they love the princess, it is great.

He still feels like crud, now I'm coughing non-stop and running a fever. My chest really hurts again. I finished unpacking and doing 7 loads of laundry and ironing all of it tonight. It's 34 degrees and raining... please pray it sleets/snows/ices tonight so school is closed and I don't have to get up to take Davis and Brantley-Kate!

Believe me when I tell you -- I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL!!!! Please rest as much as possible. Even when I rested quite a bit, it took a long time to get over this last bout. Take your time! You don't want to be sick for Christmas.

Well, I have been reading for almost ever, and I can never catch up, so I will just jump in and respond anyway. I would love to keep up and be part of the fun. I love reading all this... but I can never keep up, and then I don't post because I feel like I am always behind.

I can tell you that it takes about 8 hours to drive from Rochester to Cinci, unless it is a Friday afternoon.... then it can take about 10. We just did this in August to take DS to Atlanta for school, and it was a big mistake leaving on a Friday afternoon.

Congrats to Amy, PD to Deb and her Dad, Thank you to Lisa and her DH for your sacrifices. I'm sure there are a ton more comments I would like to make, but I am just too slow.

Ellen post as much as you want! I'm behind too. Im back on page 1092! I think I might catch up, but if not, I'll just jump ahead.

I am so anal, I have read every post on this thread so far. But I promised my doctor I would be in bed asleep by 12:30 for the next week. I don't know how I'm going to catch up. I started about 11:00 pm and have only gotten through 12 pages! Oy!!!!

But in answer to your question, of course we don't mind you jumpig in. This is a trouble free zone. Your home!

Judging by all my posts in a row I may be the only one on now. Anyway.

My Dad was released from the hospital this morning. He actually seemed a little worse to me today, but the doctors sent him home. He aches from head to toe. I guess that is to be expected especially 48 hours after the accident. Hopefully the aches are at there worst now. He has small cuts all over is head that we hadn't noticed before. The vertigo is still really bad. Each time he moves he has to stop and wait for the vertigo to pass before he can walk or close is eyes. He is really scared as he says he just feels out of it. He is getting confused easily and is mixing up things that he has been told. I keep thinking that he has received so much info that he can't process all of it. He can't drive at all until the vertigo is gone. I stayed with him until 7:30 PM. My mom got home at 2 PM, but we made dinner and I helped her set up her new computer etc. When we left the hospital this morning Dad asked to go to see the truck. It looks worse than in the photo. It will probably be totaled. The mirrors on the drivers side were forced through that window and we think that is what he hit his head on and accounts for the broken glass in his hair. There was also a piston that shot into the cab through the back window. He's lucky that it didn't go right through him. I think that he thought that seeing the truck might bring his memory back, but not even a flash. After looking that truck over I think it is good that he can't remember. He is very emotional and is afraid to ever drive anything again since he isn't sure if he did something wrong to cause the accident. I tried to explain that it was an accident, not an on purpose and that it could have happened to anyone. In fact there was another train accident in our area this morning. **it happens and it isn't always good.

I got home tonight and everything hit me. I was a stressed out mess. My ds10 told my mom how cold he was at recess. Apparently he didn't wear his hat or gloves to recess, but he made it sound like I sent him to school without them. Truth is he had his snow suit at school as well as his hat and gloves, but he chose not to wear them. He was also wearing a fleece hoodie and didn't bother putting the hood up. DS8 forgot his glasses this morning so I had to bring them to him. The dogs apparently ran out of food tonight ( I was at the store last night and this afternoon, but dh didn't mention that we were close to running out) and dh expected me to run out tomorrow to get some. I can find ds8 snow pants from last year (he has his snow suit so it isn't a big deal, but when everything hits at once even the little things seem huge). I finally drew myself a bath and had a good cry. Dh said why don't you go to your DIS boards and just unwind, so here I am. I'm sure that I'll be fine tomorrow. I just have so much to do and lost 3 whole days. I have to remember to take baby steps and it will all get done.

At first I was all for Randall, but after this show and previews for next week, I am thinking Rebecca. I am not understanding why Piscipo cannot attend. Will have to watch a repeat tomorrow.


Just found out that we have no water . The only disadvantage of having a well, is that if you leave something running (toilet) sometimes it runs dry. Now I hope it really snows ( I cannot believe I am saying that) that way I will have to wait for the plow to come before I can get out of the development. And the well will have time to catch up.

I'm rooting for Rebecca, but I asked Skunka if he thought that Trump might hire two apprentices?? He could fire them two at a time, why not hire two?? I think they are both good, but before tonight I was way more impressed with Randall. He didn't seem like much of a leader tonight. Rebecca seems more sure of herself, and that will get her farther. We'll see next week!

Drove me nuts. I'm slightly OC and have to read from where I left off. I've got to go to bed now, and I'm still like 30 pages behind.
