I hit the refresh button and was able to see the hatched egg. I thought that closing the page and reopening would do it, but no had to actually hit refresh. :confused3

I've refreshed, closed out page, cleared my cookies.....still looks like a blue egg to me.

I was thinking along the lines of does there come a time that they outgrow the excitement of greeting the characters. You know, does it become "uncool". I sure hope it never does.

Tammi -- Well..... mine (27 and 19) have never liked seeing the characters much at all. But the delight in most things Disney is there all the time for them and the look int Denise's kids' eyes is on their faces each and every time we go to WDW. For that matter... that look is on MY face every trip too! :goodvibes

as for the shirts I posted.... they won't be on my family... I will make thiose tomorrow, I hope!

I tried to copy it so you could see it, but it wouldn't copy into another post?

Deb

ETA: I was talking about the hatched egg. I read this after I posted and knew no one would know what I was talking about.

I'm with you. I like meat and potato, few vegetables, no salads. My kids are even more fussy then me. DS3 lives on French Fries, chicken nuggets, pizza and his new craving bread with mayonaisse. I think he ate 6 mayonaisse sandwiches today (well the dog stole some and he doesn't eat the crust).

Deb

You post brings back some memories. My DS15 used to eat mayonaise sandwiches when he was around 4-5. He lived off these for over a year. Then he switched to butter sandwiches for about a year. My DS5 eats mayonaise and jelly sandwiches. Yuck. And none of my three 17, 15, 5 will eat the crust. LOL

Went on a date - watched apprentice - now I am ready to chat -

do you all realize that post 15000 will be on page 1000!! I don't think there will be any dibs on that!! I think we all want to post on page 1000 and should all try to get a post on there - maybe once you post on page 1000 you have to give everyone else a chance to post - not a long time - especially if not a lot of people are on - but maybe give everyone 15 mintues to try to post on page 1000!! 15 of us should be able to get it!

Julia and I were watching the toy story parade on video the other day and she said to me - that's not slinky dog - that is two people dressed up like him - see their legs? and then when she saw Belle in Denise's pictures today she said to me - Mommy - she doesn't look familar - that is not Belle - that is some girl dressed up like Belle -I asked why she thought that was and she said Belle must be out feeding Philipe :rotfl: I am worried that on our next trip some of the magic might be dead - although after the Belle picture came Aurora and she said "Whew - Brantley-Kate got to meet the real Aurora!"

That funny. When I was a little girl, I used to like mayo and cheese sandwiches and I still love mayo on portuguese toast. yummy

Now that I am a big girl I really have to watch my carbs. I started Atkins again on Monday. I've gained 10 lbs over the last several months and need to lose it again. I lost 50 lbs a couple of years ago and have no intention of ever regaining it. I feel so much healthier now. I never got to the weight that I wanted, but at least got out of the overweight category.

You think you have MIL woes? Oh, to have your problems! :)

My MIL is insane. Literally. :headache: :crazy2:

She send mail to us with the names "Judas" for DH and either "Bi***" or "Ho" or "Gold-digger" for me. (Where's my gold!?!?! I feel gypped lol) She sends things from my husband's childhood (like photographs) with her insane ramblings written on it in red marker about how he betrayed his parents by moving to Alabama to be with me and stuff.

She's written on envelopes that she wishes our house would burn down with everyone in it. She's never seen her grandchildren. She didn't even know about our two boys til this year. The only time she has ever been to our city is when she came down here to try and get me in trouble with the police. They saw her for what she is though, totally nuts.

She's said things in the past to my DH like "I wish I could slit your throat and watch you bleed all over the carpet." I'm not making this up! I've never even met her in person because she hates me with a vengance.

I almost feel sorry for her. There's no way she isn't insane. God help her.

ETA: Almost forgot, she also sent photocopied, anonymous letters to my entire neighborhood saying awful things about me. Some neighbors showed me the letter, it was her distinctive handwriting.

Hey Deb -

your kids and mine have the same diet (except the mayo sandwich)

I LOVE Miracle Whip- I used to take bologna and smother it in Miracle Whip and eat it (that was my favorite thing as a kid!!!)

I am a very picky eater too!

Seafood makes me throw up - the smell, the taste all of it - I call it an allergy b/c it's easier to explain and no one tries to convince me that I haven't had the RIGHT seafood (my in-laws insist this is why I don't like Chinese) and in my opinion if everytime you eat a food you throw up - you probably have some sort of allergic reaction to it!!

anyway - when I pregnant with Julia - I was sick the WHOLE time - like I lost 25 pounds while I was pregnant with her (at the end of the pregnancy I was up ten pounds and two weeks later - weighed 25 pounds less than the day I conceived her)

we went to visit my in-laws at Long Boat Key near Sarasota and I told DH - if you all want to go to a seafood restaurant - please go - but PLEASE do not ask me to go with you - the smell will be too overwhelming to me and I will not enjoy it but I don't want to stop you from going - I'll be damned if within an hour of arriving I emerge from puking in the bathroom and he says to me - "Mom and Dad want to go to a seafood restaurant for dinner" (in front of them) "and we will sit outside so the smell won't bother you - is that okay?" what else could I do but go?

I was delightful - ate my steak - which you all know that steak at a seafood restaurant is overpriced and not always so good b/c it's not seafood and never said a word - the times that the smell of seafood overcame me and I had to go to the bathroom and throw up - I didn't even tell them - I decided to be gracious

last time I EVER do that - fast forward to the next night and we were out for the day and WITHOUT even asking they pull into a seafood restaurant for dinner - that night I was less than delightful - every time someone walked by me with a plate of fish - I gagged and ran from the table to the bathroom - during dinner my DH asked how my steak was and I said fine considering - and stopped - he knew how pissed I was and said - considering they really specialize in fish here - I said Yep - he told me later that they just assumed it was okay with me b/c I was fine the night before -

I learned my lesson then - to never be polite and let my in-laws think something is okay with me!!
