I can't wait!
Hi Dawn,
thought I would just post the directions on this site since i saw a few others ask about it
In answer to your question, the two other girls with us are both my sisters. The one in the wheelchair is Debi, who is tinker1bell's sister and the other is Cheryl who unfortunately does not have a computer at home. I am the oldest then Debi and then Cheryl. I consider Stephanie my "twin" and Debi and Cheryl will tell you that it is very scary sometimes how in synch Stephanie and I are.
As you said you are a visual person, and I thought as I was reading the directions, you were going to look at them and question them. I got two pieces of paper and wrote wrong and right on each of the pieces and put them together and followed the directions step by step. It made sense when I did that, trust me!!!
when you cut out two yards of fabric, the width of fabric is your own personal choice.
2 yards of print fabric
2 yards of solid fabric
pins
cutting wheel or scissors---your preference
large enough space to lay out fabric
lay the first piece of fabric on a flat surface wrong side up
lay the second piece of fabric on top of the first piece right side up, then pin the two pieces together
cut a 3 inch by 3 inch square from each of the four corners --you can go longer if you want longer fringe
make a slit approximately one to two inche intervals on all four sides
Tie or Knot (your own personal choice of knot) around the entire piece of fabric
when finished, you have a blanket
