Me too!! We are heavily planned (thanks TGM) for the holiday weekend so that DSis can get to do as much as possible. After that, Terra and I will just be hanging out and enjoying the holiday season.

I hate work! Got in today... oh and we are moving desks today! WHAT!! No warning! Took me 3 hours and I have a computer that needs to be set up. All my stuff is everywhere on the new one. ARGGGG!! computer= and boss=

Oh I used to hate that! We referred to it as

Rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic!!!!

I've been busy today. Not getting ready for Thanksgiving, but for the birthday party for my boys tommorrow night. We are having hamburgers and hot dogs with lots of casseroles and side dishes. I think we may be bbqing in a snowstorm though. I got my bundt cake made and the skim coat of frosting on. It is chilling before the final icing. The brownie layer, first ice cream layer and first layer of hot fudge is on the hot fudge sundae cake. I'll add the rasberry pie filling before bed as the other layers needed to set up first. I made 5 loaves of pizza bread and a pan of cinnamon buns. Tomorrow I'll make the taco salad, tossed salad and mozzerella sticks. My mom is making baked beans, deviled eggs, cabbage salad, fried rice, lasagna and a blueberry dessert. I also have mac & cheese, fruit salad, brocolli cassarole and chili coming. Do you think that will be enough to feed 50 - 60 people? After that I can worry about Thanksgiving. It isn't at our house so I'm actually only bringing a hot fudge sundae cake which I am making at the same time as the one for the birthday party. Thanksgiving will be dedicated to making lists for BF
My house is 80% cleaned although the kids don't have school tomorrow so I'll probably have to start over anyway.

I'm from PA, but I haven't been on a road trip in a while and camping is one of my favorite things in the world.

We've camped at Hershey Highmeadow Campground a couple of times. It is one of our favorites although nothing compares to FW.

I'm hoping someone can help me. I know...again. Nicholas keeps telling me he wants this "foam" stuff for Christmas. He's seen it advertised on commercials on the Disney or other cartoon channels. His description of it is that it sticks to everything. DH says he caught a snipit of the commercial. He says its like play-doh, in that you can mold it around stuff and such. I've searched the internet on the "as seen on tv" sights, but can't figure out what it is. And a search of just "foam" is extremely broad, as you can imagine. Does anyone know what this stuff is and where I can get it?

Can I come to the Birthday party? You are making me really, really hungry. That sounds to me like enough food for 50 - 60 people. If you are anything like me or my Mom when we plan a party or event there are always tons of leftovers.

I've camped at Hershey High Meadow campgrounds quite a few times. That is about 45 minutes to an hour from where I live. The only thing I don't like about High Meadow is being woken up at 4am to the trains going through right next to the camp.

I've never camped at Fort Wilderness, although I have camped at other campgrounds in Florida.

Yeah, though it's been awhile. I would love to go soon, but DH isn't very into the idea. I'm awaiting the next chance when I get to visit my parents for more than a few days.

Sure, anyone can come, the more the merrier. I'm sure that we will have tons of food leftover, but my Mom always stresses that we won't have enough. In 36 yrs I've never known a guest to leave hungry.

Thats alright but thanks for the offer, I don't feel like driving 7 to 8 hours possibly in the snow to get to the party. I hope everyone enjoys the party. They sure better enjoy the food it sounds great.

My dh wasn't to keen on it when we started dating, but we went from RV camping with my parents to tent, to pop up, to small motorhome and we now have a 30ft TT. We love to camp and do it as much as we can during the summer months. Once a year we usually go to ME and to NY. I've never camped in MA, but have camped in NH, NJ, PA, FL. We usually do one longer trip each year. I love to get campground references from people who have already camped there. Ads can be very deceiving.
