Midnite unless you move somewhere else you are to likely to have a white Christmas. I have been in North Alabama my whole life and can count on my fingers the number of times we had white much less at X'mas time. :rotfl:

I AM SO JELIOUS of the snow pics. My kids would love to see that much snow.

I can remember as a child running to the TV just to see pictures of snow. :rotfl: I grew up in St Pete, Fla. Didn't see snow until I was eight years old.

Here's something confusing for all of you on the birthday thread... I actually have two birthdays every year. Really, I do. My date of birth is January 24th (yea Amy) but I have a second birthday on February 21st. We refer to it as my "special birthday". You see I was adopted and February 21st is the day I was born into my family... so in our family, my special birthday is more important than the day I turn a year older!!!

ETA: If I have two birthdays - does that mean I'm really 84???

Marti - I get that!

My DH was adopted when he was 8 and every year he and his parents remember the day he went to live with them!

If we finally get some snow around here any of you that want to come visit are more than welcome. I'll share my snow with you.

I love that!!! :goodvibes Warm fuzzies!!! :teeth:

I lived in Alexandria when I lived in DC - DH actually lived in the city - in an area so bad he NEVER let his mother see it!!! His apartment was nasty but he loved the short walk to capitol hill! Being the only one in our office that drove - I always had my pick of parking spots either RIGHT outside our office building or int he garage under the capitol!!

WARNING ABOUT LEAVING APPLIANCES RUNNING WHILE NOT AT HOME.

Before I went to work @ 7:30 A.M I started the dishwasher.
DH comes home @ 1:30 P.M for lunch.
Hears all the smoke alarms going off & smells smoke.
House is full of a light smoke.
Goes into our bedroom to look for Sunny my :cat: .
She is hiding under the bed.
Boo DS :cat: was @ the Vet.
Starts looking for what's burning.
He could tell by the smell electric.
Looks in the kitchen, flames are coming out of the dishwasher.
All is OK we only lost the dishwasher.
It's toast.
So quess what we are getting each other for Christmas.
Not let me tell you why I turned it on & went to work.
Dh don't like me to run it when he is watch TV it's to loud.
That also goes for the washer & dryer.
I can't believe he said it was his fault. :faint:

That's really cool Marti. :goodvibes

My dad moved to Florida when I was nine, and I always spent the month of July with him, so we celebrated my half-birthday while I was there (July 24). Now that day is even more special, because it's the day Kevin and I got married!

Amy :)

Every year I got a card that had the word "special" somewhere in the card. It is not as easy as you think!!! Since mom passed away 5 years ago, Skunka has kept up the tradition - another reason to love him!!!

DEB,Glad to hear your dad is doing better. Continued :wizard:

Depending on the date in July, I think Steffy and I could come down to DC :Pinkbounc

We need another road trip to Atlanta (Hotlanta) :earseek: so if the two dates do not conflict, there is a chance we could maybe do both

It would be so good to meet :grouphug: :cheer2:

::yes:: You have to admit, though, snow (not just soap bubbles) at WDW would be pretty awesome!!! :teeth: What park will you be at for Christmas Day? We'll be at MGM - lunch at 50's Prime Time. Will we see you around?
