DVCer's- we really need to put a CAUTION warning on anything we say about DVC- and tell them the truth.

If they buy into the DVC, they'll be going to WDW at least once a year and afetr the first 2 years of being in the DVC they'll need more points!

Marti/Dumby - I think the new name should reflect that we chat in here but that people can come in and get design advice - as much as I would like to say it is best for them to start a new thread - we all know we are much more responsive in here - although I do try to check the front page a couple times a day

I agree, regarding the new name...that we (or should I say you) design, and we also chat, alot. Like: DDA - Chat and Design, or something.

OK I'm way back here on page 1011.
So here is our little Christmas Tree.

Just a small ceramic tree with a Tinkerbell topper.
We used to have a 7 foot tree.
That we decorated with all the Disney Beanies.
Ceilings in this house are to low.
So this is what we do.
Also the cats play with the other trees.
So we are happy with this.
I put it up & I have to take it down.
WFTM so I keep it simple.
I would change 1 thing.
I wish it lights up.

Get one of the battery operated candles that are usually put in windows (a short one) (or any other light source you wish - but if it's too short, it will only light the bottom) and slip it inside. The little plastic "lights" on the tree will glow.

My other warning is:

don't stay in a one bedroom!! Cause once you do - there is NO going back!!!

for Christmas I am getting a new bedspread and painting my bedroom (just one wall) - I think we have decided to go with this one

At first I was opposed to a new name - I thought "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" - but if everyone wants to change it, it's fine with me - just leave me a trail to follow when I get back. All of my shirts are done, autograph books done, mousekeeping envelopes done, house cleaned and packing done. I'm off to Pop Century tomorrow at 3:30 p.m (limo leaves Poughkeepsie, flight leaves at 7:05 and gets to MCO at 10:00 p.m. I can't believe it's finally time! I'll try to post tomorrow from work if the boss doesn't have too much going on. This time I won't tell you not to be too PROLIFIC - I'll ask you not to be too LOQUACIOUS!!

I must say that Stone Mountain is unbelievable.

Loved the laser show.

When were you at Stone Mountain?? I live only 15 minutes away.

Steffy and I went to see my two sisters (one of them is tinker1bell's sister) who live in Marietta in August of 2004. We took about 12 hours to drive down. Had a blast driving. Listening to a lot of good CDs, weather was just perfect. We get into Atlanta and the traffic really picks up. We are getting very close to my one sister's place and we encounter the ---
14 Lane Highway 7 count em seven lanes each way. Which Steffy proceeded to count while driving
We got a late start to go to Stone Mountain so the only real thing we got to see was the laser show the one day. We really had such a good time that we decided to go the next day and see the rest of the place. Even rode the Duck. Had to get the duck bills. Our driver was Donald of course. Only time that I was concerned was when the thing went into the water. It really came pretty close to the edge
We also saw the 4-D show whick proceeded to scare the He** out of me. I really do not like snakes at all. Had to buy a hat which looked like the Lightening Bee. wore it all the way home
And of course to top the trip off Steffy and I used our duck bills the next day at work while I wore the hat

Yes, we are certifiable.
