Midnite that is so funny. I had the exact same thought then I saw your post. I'll PM you. We can't replace ornaments from her own family, but we can send new ornaments from her DIS family. I have several that I made this year that I would love to send.

I had to go back about 20 pages (I wanted to be on page 1000 and posted before I read replies) but I love what you said.

Any ornaments from my DIS family will be beyond special. I just don't know what to say. I'm just speechless. I'm so touched.

Deb - Have you gotten your 2006-2007 DVC guide?

I haven't and I didn't get one last year - I am getting a little worried!

We haven't bought DVC yet. I'm working on it with hubby. Maybe next year as we won't have any car payments Marti is a DVC member.

remember when I said my in-laws were willing to watch my kids so DH and I could go away for a weekend? No where is grabbing our attention and anywhere we really would want to go is too cold or too expensive - so I think we are going to let my in-laws watch the kids and spend the weekend here in town doing grown up things!

Before J&N we used to play pool, go out to nice dinners, movies - you know grown up things and we thought it might just be fun to do the things we never get to do here

I'm So WAY behind and trying to catch up!

I say YES! We did this when DH came home from Iraq. We stayed at a hotel in the city and wnt torestaurants we always wanted to try and went and did things we KNEW we liked. The best part if there is NO PRESSURE. You're not going to get lost! You already know the area! We hooked up with friends and had an adult night. IT was GREAT!

Does anyone know what happened to Itslisa? I know she went to her parents for Thanksgiving and I don't think that her trip is for another week. I'm getting concerned that she hasn't been on. I sent her a PM yesterday, but nothing. Lisa where are you?

Steffy - I'm so sorry to hear you lost all your Christmas ornaments. I know they will be hard to replace. You can never replace memories.

I had just bought the new Mickey and Minnie one and the Crush one and brought them to work for her today, needless to say, she loved getting them but we have tried not to talk about the incident because our stomachs hurt even to think about it

Back to our regularly scheduled programming.

My way of coping is to plan another trip. I love Disney in May. My DGD is in 3rd grade now and we just can't pull her from school so close to the start of summer break.

And I can't plan an adults only trip in May, as I've made a committment for an adults only trip to Nashville the end of April.

Now I loved all of my trips with my grandkids, but I must admit, my adults only trip in September was a selfish pleasurefest. I loved, loved, loved September... everything except the heat.

I loved our Christmas trip, except for the crowds and the cold.

I'm looking at Denise's trip report and pictures and I know I want to return in early December. I want to see Disney again all decked out. I want to go to MVMCP. I want to see the Candlelight Proc. I want to see the Osborne Lights.

And I want to take my oldest sister who has never been to Disney. Sooooooo, I'm going to ignore my naked tree, go to AC Moore and get some shirts. I'm going to make shirts to give to my sister for Christmas, so she can start planning for the trip early Dec. 2006. We'll go for Mousefest.

November 29 until December 6th.

So tinker1bell, what say you? I know tinker1bell's sister and Cher love going in December. What do you say?

Let's make some shirts!!!

start out at World of Disney and then as you are walking towards the Christmas store say
"Oh look - a sports store - why don't you go in why I head on over to the Christmas shop - you would get bored in there anyway!!"

You're killing me! LOL I'll have to remember this for next Saturday night!
