Glad to have you hanging out. I don't post a lot myself but everyone here makes you feel like part of the family. So join right in.

babytrees ... welcome! and keep looking in on us.

I have to ask... does your screen name have anything to do with broccoli???

Elin I made the chex mix today - very moreish! I wonder if it will last til Christmas ;)

I can't believe I was on the 5th line - I thought I'd be way down! I DO spend too long on here :rolleyes1

My friend went through 10 rounds of IVF with no joy, another fell pregnant 1st attempt despite starting 10 years later - sometime there's no rhyme or reason so wishing you PD for a surprise :wizard:

Wow, thanks for posting the list of all the DDA's!!! I didn't realize I posted that much!

I has been in the high 50's-low 60's here in NY the past week but today is down into the 30's & now they say we may have snow next week! :cold:

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Our own board, Baloo is back, & page 1000!! Woohoo!!! :cheer2:

I LOVE, LOVE the Carousel picture of ya'll kissing. What time were these pictures taken?? I don't see anyone around in the Carousel picture or the Castle picture.

Oh 12 pages since I posted - I am defintely gonna catch up tomorrow - we are just on our way out to visit my friend's 5 day old baby son!

Just thought I'd let you all know about the castle - it was 5.30am (yup am) on a very cold dark morning! The photographer picked us up at the AKL and drove us into the park! There was no one there but the people cleaning and shelf stocking! We spent about an hour having photos taken outside the castle, in the room inside and then on the carousel! It set us back $800 +tax but was worth every cent! I loved every minute if it

Right - tomorrow I'm back!

See you all then :wave2:

What kind of blankets were you making?? I know you said you had a bunch to do.

I am making for my nieces and nephews this year fleece blankets that you stack on top of each other and then fringe about 5 inches all around and tie together. Walmart had a starter kit with Tink, Cinderalla and Pooh......they are adorable.

Lynn

I did one Christmas fleece fringed blanket for a gift basket. That took just as long as sewing the other ones. The baby blankets are fleece on one side, cotton on the other and a satin binding. I made several different patterns. I also made a couple of blankie squares which a blankets that are about 15" square. I find them much easier for kids to drag around especially in stores or at WDW (security blanket, not for warmth). I made 3 little pillows that match some of the blankets.

I absolutely love Fort Wilderness. It is a very different WDW experience. Can't wait to go again.

Welcome to our happy little family or as Marti says our trouble free zone. Can't wait to hear more from you.

Deb - Have you gotten your 2006-2007 DVC guide?

I haven't and I didn't get one last year - I am getting a little worried!

I haven't got mine either and it is supposed to come with a new calendar. Any picture they want to send me of WDW is OK with me.

I don't get why some people have had them for 2 weeks and we haven't gotten them yet - how hard can this be?

Are they sent out alphabetically, or by zip code, or by year you bought in? What is the method to their madness?

With all the creativity and computer savvy people here on the DDA, I was wondering if someone has disney-themed travel journal pages they would like to share.

My last pages were 8 1/2x11 and had pages for each day of our trip to write what we did, where we ate, favorite things, etc. I can't seem to find the file now.

Does anybody here have something like this?

I was reading the have you gotten yours thread and I don't see anyone in Ohio who has gotten one - someone got one who has only been a memebr for a year - seems most resorts have gotten some - and I am F alphabetically - so geography seems to make the most sense - but I have seen some get them in one area and others not -

I wonder if your guide has anything to do with it?

What does your zip code start with? Mine is 62XXX
