Just went and checked out this thread. It is so heartwarming. It just goes to show that there are some really nice people in the world and on the DIS board.

Question: How do you go about putting a design on the front AND on the back? Doesn't ironing the second one goof up the first one, or is there some trick to it?

Yes there is a trick.
Very simple.
Here is how I did it.
Do 1 side front or back no different.
Then put the cutting board on the ironing board.
Slip the shirt over the cutting board.
Let the 1 done side hang down.

Itslisa what town are you shoppin in. We usually start out in West Lebanon then head to either Salem, NH or Nashua, NH with a stop in Manchester for good measure. I typically get an 18 hour shopping day in and get most of my shopping done. DH takes the day off and keeps the kids. I actually have fun planning where to go, when and what to buy.

Mommy lives in RI. We'll be traveling the for the holiday. I'll be doing the majority of my shopping on Route 1 in Attleboro MA. I think I would pay more in gas moving from store to store in NH than I do pay in sales tax in MA. Still ... I HATE paying the sales tax! LOL

The tag fairy must be finished with their shopping already and avoid black Friday sales. It appears they got a great deal on tags and pixie dust since they have been so generously handing out tags and pixie dust and spreading them like wildfire.

Or perhaps they are super hyped up on diet coke.

I'd like to do something with this for my son, but I don't know what can be done in tems of removing lettering .. and putting in new stuff etc.

His name is Ben.

The only think I can think of adding seems way too long
fast as fast can be
you'll never catch me!


So ... any of our talented artists up to try something with it?

Oh - I remember those now! Can you do one for Ben? I like white outline on the lettering ... I think it shows up better? And can I have the "watch out Disney Here I come ?

Thanks for the tips about ironing the fronts and backs of shirts. I'll have to give them a try.

Not sure yet if I'm going to try ironing on the back of a wooden cutting board, on top of the dryer, or on our smooth top stove.

I think I finally finished my MVMCP design for the front of my DIS lime green shirt tonight! I'll try to post my designs in the other thread sometime this week.

Saturday's are so stressful here in this house. My husband says his blood runs orange, and he paces in front of the TV or turns it when the games get close. Thankfully, his team hasn't had any problems yet this year. But they always manage to falter on a team that doesn't seem that hard to beat. We'll see what happens with the rest of the season.

There are websites out there that get leaks of Black Friday store ads. People send them into the sites and then the information is posted for the public. Some of it might not be entirely accurate, but it gives some what of an idea of what is out there.
