Does anyone here have a craft room that they do their designs in? I need to design a craft room for my upstairs room and I'm not sure what to do with it. The room is 12x27 and half of it will also be used as an exercise room. Any hints?

Well, I would go with the obvious...Disney themed all the way. Maybe movie specific, character specific, or better yet... how about all the characters in work out gear (gets both sides of the room!!). Print up a nice 8x10 and put them in black frames and people will think you spent a fortune.

my3princes...I hope your furbabies make out okay.My cat, Samantha ,use to get SO upset any time she'd see our suitcases out.Her eyes would start watering.The first couple times I took her to the vet until he figured she was acting out. OY!


ReAnSt...Also just a word of warning, when I searched for Pocahontas pictures at one time I found some very inappropriate pictures, things I am sure would would be very shocking to any of your kids and even some of the people on this board. I know what you mean.I've been doing some Goggling with Erich for a French project and when I put "honey" in...oops!

karebear1...no I don't have a craft room but I'd kill for a space that big!!! WOW!! I'm in agreement with Marti, I'd go with some sort of Disney theme! I'd have a big table to be able to cut fabric on,lots of storage,shelves,a desk ,a t.v,stereo,computer and good lightening! It would be HEAVEN to have a place I could work on my projects and NOT have to clean it up every night! You might want to do a search on HGTV for Craft Rooms for more ideas.I remember a nice one on Decorating Cents.

Well I suppose I should get to bed.Erich is playing in a 3 on 3 basketball tourney tomorrow morning.It's a just for fun thing at school but they do get prizes so he's excited.He hasn't played organized basketball in 5 years so it surprised me when he wanted to play.Should be interesting and fun!

According to the gooble-de-gook I found on the USPS website, it doesn't look like you can mail a round postcard. Well, you can make one, you just can't mail it. Looks like you might need to use a square envelope for your design.

Here are the postcard regulations....
Postcard Standards:

• Minimum Allowable Postcard Size: 3.5 x 5 Inches
  If the width is less than 5 inches or the height is less than 3.5 inches the USPS will NOT mail your postcard.
• Maximum Allowable Postcard Size: 4.25 x 6 Inches
  If the width is greater than 6 inches or the height is greater than 4.25 inches, the postcard must be mailed as a letter, higher rate and all.

Great! I just printed my second batch at 6x4.5!!! (standard digital photo print size) they came out so well too... maybe I'll put them in an album and reprint them as 6x4s no point paying out for stamps if they won't post them! And it's cheaper to reprint than buy envelopes...

I'm sure I've bought postcards in walmart that were 7x5...

for the advice about the canvas bag. I'll try the transfers without washing the bag. It mentioned lots of artsy uses for the bag on the package, but the texture of it seems more suited for painting.

Any other good Disney Mom+Child clipart ideas besides Dumbo, Bambi, and Roo with their Moms?

What about Mrs Potts and chip? Or the incredibles? or Simba and his mom?

Shhh... it's a secret! Kate better be packing and not reading this board! I am sending them a gift basket to their resort as a thank you for all her kindness and help. If anyone is interested, PM me. I know to get something Belle, but I need to figure out for Nick. Where's that shirt she made with Nick's name? What characters are on it? Did she say who Nick was dressing up as for the MNSSHP?

When she posted the Julia shirt with all the princess dresses, a few posts later Nick's was the Toy Story characters. His head was on Buzz and Woody.... not sure about favorites, but that's one I've seen! Hope that helps. Let me know if you want any help, money, etc.... what a thoughtful idea!

Hello All! This is Kate's sister Nancy. I willkeep your lovely little secret! Nick is a Toy Story nut, he love Buzz and Woody.

She had to make all those extra t's because I just decided on Monday to drive down to Disney next weekend and she HAD to be sure my family all had t's!!! THe 10 might have been all for my family and we are only going for the weekend!!

She loves this board and I came to look at a design she made for my DD. I stumbled across your question.
