As soon as your done transfering your picture and you take off the backing; that's when you should spray the glitter. It's better then cause the picture is still hot from the iron and the picture needs to cool and set. So by spraying the glitter right away when the picture is hot it will set right in and when you go to wash the shirt most of the glitter should stay on the shirt and not get washed away.
Thank you. I will try it next time.

Also Speaking of T-shirts. :listen: Wal-mart has "Just My Size" T-shirts on sale for $6.00 and the colors are bright. :cool1: They are 100% cotton...I am washing them now to see if they are going to shrink!! :scared:  Will let everyone know soon. :chat:

Debi
Well, folks, the "Just My Size" shirts came out of the dryer and as far as I can tell there was very little shrinking if any at all!!!!

Sorry if this has already been asked and answered. What is the best type of transfer paper to use on a light colored or white t-shirt? I made shirts in 2003 and the transfers started peeling and/shredding when we wore them. I want to make sure the transfer paper is good this time. Also, any tips on a better application would be appreciated. Thanks!

Well here is one of the shirts that I promised you. This is Shelby wearing her Princess shirt that J&N's mom desgined for her. The picture that I took isn't the clearest; but the transfer turned out great. Then when I was done, I sprayed on glitter.

What a great idea! Where'd you find them all? And good luck with PhotoShop. It can be daunting, but fun.

Just for fun, I ran this list by my DH. Polish is his first language. He says it's correct! :sunny:

Luv the design, but. . .I haven't seen a t-shirt in my closet that small since I was in junior high! I need a diet fast or I am going to be afraid to post my t-shirt! :rotfl2:

MinnieMouseMom - Thank you!

MidNite - Thank you! I got the list off of a clipart site. I think I got the link from here but I will check. I have done sizing in Photoshop, but not the layers and stuff. It's fun. DH also installed Photoready; he says I'll be able to use it when I get used to Photoshop.

Mrs. Squirrel - Thank you! My grandparents are Polish too (me too, but I don't speak it) and they said it was right. But it's always nice to reconfirm cuz they are in their nineties and you should have seen the look they gave me when I asked. :teeth: I knew a few of the others already.

Here is a question for all you wonderful designers! I bought tshirts today at Kmart for dh and myself. I still couldn't find any tshirts for my 3 yo dd. (I have been everywhere!) She is very small for her age and that is part of the problem. I did find some toddler boys tshirts that fit, but only in white. I bought some fabric dye that matches the colors of the other shirts I bought. If I dye the shirts will the transfer still take? I guess I have nothing to lose trying it, but thought I would ask first. Thanks! Can't wait to actually make these beautiful shirts you have all designed! Now, if I could just figure out which ones! LOL :rolleyes1 :confused3

We are going September 2nd thru 11th and staying at Pop Century! :Pinkbounc
Hi! We'll be there August 28th thru September 3, also at Pop. Since we overlap by one day. . .hope to see you there! I will have a green mickey head DIS sign in my hotel window.

My nephew will be wearing J&N's Mom's Toy Story birthday shirt on 9/2 for his outing to Hoop Dee Doo, and we have matching Pooh Gang shirts that I designed but have not posted yet. I thought I would wait until we got back to post a group photo.

I bought some for my DD2 at Old Navy. They were $3.25 each. I bought XS in the 'girls' section. It was nice because I bought DD6 the same shirt so they will match!!
