my3princes said:It seems like I saw Gildan T-shirts on clearance at BJ's, I think that they only had mens though. They had 3 packs of colored boys T's too. I did a tank with built in bra for myself (walmart) and it came out as good as regular t's. I did shrink the design down a lot to make it work. I have now finished all 3 sets of shirts and am waiting for my family (models) to all be free at the same time to take some pictures. Oh yeah, the tye dye towel came out great too.

Oh, you are right, it does look a bit better. Thanks for your collaboration. Now just one question. I think this design is 5x6 when I open it. If I enlarge it to 8x10, is it going to pixelate?momof2OH said:Thanks for the suggestion. Had to use a 2 or 3 but it does stand out a little better. Again, thanks!![]()

lovesdumbo said:I'm fine really. I do NOT have a problem. I even stayed away from this thread all weekend (I'm sure I could have even if the lightning wasn't keeping me off the computer). Beside I haven't even done one design myself YET...I am thinking of purchasing Photo Impact at Comp USA this week.![]()
Seriously...I haven't done any designs yet but I thought when I come back from my August trip I may start doing templates for autographs.
I've got about 10 T's all washed in my closet and after I make them (with my iron not a coveted heat press) I'll be sure to post photos.

I can't help with your second question, sorry. I used this castle illustration for my daughter's birthday shirt (I think it's on page ONE of this thread!) and was happy to discover that the sky printed out much lighter than it looks on screen. It looked like daytime with fireworks, which didn't bother me at all because daytime fireworks are part of Cinderellabration! I was still very happy with the color of the castle. Of course, YMMV.Nik's Mom said:I have 2 questions. My first question is that I need help with this picture.
I want to make the sky lighter, without effecting the color of the castle. But I can't seem to do that. Can anyone help?

2nd question is, when I made shirts in 2003, the transfers didn't last the day. Our trasfers started shredding from the moment we started wearing them. Is this just how it is, or did I just use bad transfers?
Thanks for your help!![]()
Yes it is. I am very happy with it, although I think it is not quite centered, but not enough to really notice. All thanks goes to you for the design and to everyone else who posted their tips regarding transfer papers and the iron-on process.julia & nicks mom said:Tammi - it is so beautiful - I think I might cry!!!
Baloo said:Speaking of t-shirts....KMART has a ton of summer stuff on sale.Plain t-shirts for woman anywhere from $2.50 to $5 a piece.Sixe XS to XL.Think they had Plus sizes too.
I got the Basic Edition brand. It's a nice weight and has a sorta scoop neckline.
I was excited to find these because it seems like plain woman's t-shirts are harder to find.![]()
