So my 4 friends and I are going to disney world next June as a graduation trip. We are contemplating staying at the beach club or the contemporary. Both have numerous pros and a few cons and we are unable to decide which one. We are staying for 6 nights and we are getting 5 day park hopper passes. Which hotel do you think we should stay at: beach club or contemporary?

Just for some context, mind if I ask what ages in your group? Also, any bias towards park preference... meaning, any preference towards MK or Epcot/DHS, or are both equal?

Are you all staying in one room? The bathroom layouts are different, with the sinks being in the same room as the shower at the CR with a pocket door for the toilet and the BC has the sinks and vanity separate from the shower/toilet.

I would ask yourself where you will spend the most time.

You can walk to parks from each resort - that is a big perk.

We are 17 and 18 years old. Our two favorite parks are MK and Epcot, these are the two parks where we will probably spend the majority of our time.

Neither resort is better than the other. You just have to choose which one checks the most boxes for you and your friends. CR is more convenient to MK. BC is more convenient to HS and Epcot.

The rooms at CR are a bit bigger and you have the fold-out in case someone fits and wants to sleep alone. We had a TPV room, which was phenomenal.
You have more eateries available in the BC area. Rooms are still nice sized, as we fit 5 at YC and didn't feel cramped. It has the better pool.

YC and CR are our two favorite resorts, so far, and I'd have a hard time choosing. Price would end up the deciding factor, I think.

Beach Club has an exponentially better pool than the Contemporary, so if there is any chance you'll be swimming, I recommend Beach Club.

I think contemporary would make more sense for your group. The rooms are larger, and being so close to MK will be very convenient. Plus you'd be able to take the monorail to Epcot. I haven't had issues with the busses before, so I'd think getting to HS and AK would not be too much of an issue from there. Like others, BC definitely is better if you plan on spending a lot of time at the resort though. CR has best location for MK.
