Disney dangled the visual weinee & Mickeystoontown gobbled it up! 10/26

Hi Lisa! I've been working my way around the DIS today starting the long process of getting caught up everywhere. I was 10 pages behind on yours so I can't comment on everything since I don't remember all I wanted to say. But I do need to comment on your "Doo doo" story and let you know it's not just Hunter.

Mom and I took a trip out to Yellowstone a few years ago and we were absolutely fascinated by all of the piles of doo doo we saw. And yes I did take pictures. :rotfl: Even funnier, in one of the gift shops, we found a book that was called "Who Pooped in the Woods?". It gave pictures and descriptions of all the different kinds so Mom and I were able to identify the different piles we saw. :thumbsup2

I love that trail, but I hang on to Mark's loop in his shorts while he walks so I don't have to look at the bats. I HATE bats with a passion. I can look at snakes all day long, but not those disgusting bats.

Great close-up of the tiger. Too bad it was so crowded.

I'm sorry you didn't see more birds.

John got a phone call? I don't believe you. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

You ride EE with your fear of height???? :faint: I am in total shock. I rode it that same day with Avery and it was DEFINITEY the last time I ride it...I don't care who begs me to go on it.

You got some great pictures on EE, Lisa.

The monkeys afraid of the ducks :rotfl::lmao: You should of gotten a video, I bet that was hilarious !
I'm afraid of heights too but I love EE ! I love how fast it goes.

Oooh, you have to pay me to get on Expedition Everest! I've done it a couple times, but it scares the bejeebers out of me. I will gladly find a nice shady rock to sit on and wait.

I love watching those monkeys! They are so much fun.

I am not an Everest person myself. I don't know how you manage it with a fear of heights. :faint:

What Love your husband must have for you to risk back pain and motion sick/equilibrium issues just to give you a riding buddy! :lmao: Its the little things in life that make things special right?

I LOVE EE!!!! You should try riding in the front seat someday --- now that's a rush! And if the boys don't want to ride, there's always the single rider line that goes by fast.

So, scared monkeys afraid of the monkey-eating wild ducks! That must have been a riot to watch! Go get 'em ducks!! :rotfl2:

Why does it not surprise me that you are rooting for the ducks?!:rotfl2:

Is it really weird that I found that post very interesting? I have done that same thing while walking through the woods or even in our own yard. We have fox, racoons and deer that come into our yard and we've tried to figure out who's poo is who's.

And I don't like snakes at all!

Yep, John got a phone call. The man loves his phone which is always hilarious to me.

I'm afraid of heights too but I love EE ! I love how fast it goes.

I wish that I had thought to video the monkeys. They were such scaredy cats when it came to those ducks.

If we ever meet up one day, you and John can wait it out while the rest of us go on Expedition Everest.

I never get tired of AK pictures! Thanks for sharing and the hard work you do for your TR!! :)

Thank you! I love looking at pictures of the Animal Kingdom too.

The first time that I rode it, I was scared to dadgum death. Now, I know not to look over the sides and I'm pretty okay.

John's such a sweetheart! I think that I shall keep him. ;)

All caught up on your trip report again! Love reading about your adventures!

Yay for being caught up! I seem to get behind on everything lately.

You have to love having those Disney puppy names. We got a new lab/golden mix that we named Gus (Cinderella) but I swear I should have named him Stitch or Rolly. He will be 3 months next week and he is so much fun but Hunter is right about the poop. :rotfl2:

I'm so scared to do Everest but you are giving me hope! I waited in line 4+ hours for it two months after it opened in the HOT June sun, only to chicken out at the very last second. It's one of only two rides/attractions/shows I have never done in Disney - the other is ToT as I hate drops! Send me upside down on RnRC all day, but drops, no way!

We went to MK for NYE last week, and I conquered my other never-done, which was Splash Mountain. I believe my stomach is still at the top of the final drop! I am so proud of myself for finally conquering that fear too. I was going to do it with 7 friends last trip, but chickened out and left my terrified boyfriend in the front row alone! He wasn't any less scared this time but he braved it for me.

So exciting to have a new puppy! I have a 2-year-old Yorkie boy myself, and it's worth all the hard work at first. As a baby, his bladder when full was the size of a peanut, so it was a LOT of long nights!

There were ducks swimming around and the monkeys were scared of them. Yep, scared of them. Every time the ducks would get close to land, the monkeys would scamper back up the ladder. It was quite funny to watch.

That's really funny! I would have found that endlessly entertaining as well.

After watching for a while, we realized that it was time to use our Fastpasses. While standing around, Hunter decided that he didn’t want to ride. John also didn’t want to ride. What? Are ya’ll kidding me? When I booked the Fastpasses, you both said that you would ride.

Booo. Not cool, fellas.

Ya’ll know my extreme fear of heights and may be wondering how or why in the world I would ride Expedition Everest. I mean, seriously, you can see allllllll the way over to a ‘nother park from the top. But, I like the ride and I’ll close my eyes or not look from side to side when going up if I have to.

Good for you! The ride is awesome.

John’s excuse for not wanting to ride? He says that it hurts his back and sometimes going backwards messes up his equilibrium which isn’t good for somebody with epilepsy. But, as with everything in an epileptic’s life, you can’t live in fear and he was feeling good thus he gave in.

I can get that. The backwards part is really disorienting.

Poor thing, the ride really did a number on his back. Ahhh, he’d get over it. Just kiddin’!

:rotfl2:

Well, I hope he wasn't out of commission for too long.

I love the Maharajah Jungle Trek! YOu should post pictures of Hunter through the years under the prayer tree, or by the hidden Mickey! Those would be fun to see!

I'm glad you got John to go on EE with you. I love that ride and can't imagine not wanting to ride it! (well, I can understand why John might not want to) Great pics from the ride! I hope John's back was okay.

I have been on that trail but it has been many years. My next trip I really need to take the time to do things like this.

I love Everest. It doesn't mess with my back too much, but Space Mountain is pretty much something I can't ride anymore with a bad back.

I LOVE Everest! I like roller coasters, so it's kinda my thing! I think Cortlyn would be my ride buddy... if she could get over being scared of the dark. :scratching But once she gets over the dark, she'll be a riding queen! LOL Hopefully.... ::yes::

I love the yearly Prayer photo of Hunter. :goodvibes

Great pictures along the Maharajah Jungle Trek. We've never walked it partly because animals in captivity make me a bit uneasy (although we are staying at AKL next month so I guess you can't really make sense of that! haha) but your pictures have me reconsidering it. Maybe we should just give it a try and forgo the pushing and shoving at the glass that is bound to happen. ;)

I can't believe that the guys tried to bail on you for EE. How sweet that John was a trooper. I agree that the shots Hunter took were great. If only they had been your train.

How is your planning for May going? Will you be writing a PTR?

Lawson was finally tall enough this past trip to ride EE and he was not a fan.. He clutched me the entire time and said he was never riding again... LOL.. Steve is not a fan of roller coasters and I am hoping one of my kids is... :)

I won't be able to ride next month for obvious reasons :scared1:

Awww, I like the name Gus! Our puppy was 3 1/2 months when we got him the day after Christmas. He's doing pretty good at house training.

I'm so scared to do Everest but you are giving me hope! I waited in line 4+ hours for it two months after it opened in the HOT June sun, only to chicken out at the very last second. You poor thing you. I really really would suggest that you go on both Everest. There aren't that many big drops but lots of loops and twists. Remember, this recommendation comes from a scaredy cat. ;)

We went to MK for NYE last week, and I conquered my other never-done, which was Splash Mountain. I believe my stomach is still at the top of the final drop! Yay you! I'm proud of you too!

Copper does pretty good when it comes to holding it. I'm down to just taking him out once or twice a night.

That's really funny! I would have found that endlessly entertaining as well.

:p

Booo. Not cool, fellas.

Good for you! The ride is awesome.

It is AWESOME!

I can get that. The backwards part is really disorienting.

It can get you all discombobulated when going backwards like that.

:rotfl2:

Well, I hope he wasn't out of commission for too long.

Nah, he was alright after walking it off.:thumbsup2

I have pictures of Hunter over the years near the prayer tree and hidden Mickey. I just need to find them.

John was a trooper that day and relented to going on the ride with me. Yay me!

I have been on that trail but it has been many years. My next trip I really need to take the time to do things like this.

I love Everest. It doesn't mess with my back too much, but Space Mountain is pretty much something I can't ride anymore with a bad back.

I love going on the trails at the Animal Kingdom! There's so much detail and things to see.
