Disney dangled the visual weinee & Mickeystoontown gobbled it up! 10/26

And that’s just a small portion of the strollers. I know that there will be a day when I’m pushing grandbabies around in a stroller but, until then, I’m so so so so so so very glad that I don’t have to go diving into the sea looking for the stroller that a castmember has so graciously moved and organized with the others.

Me too! So glad to be finally past that point and...oh, crap. :headache:

It was finally time to ride Toy Story Mania! I don’t know why I get so excited to ride this because my gaming skills totally suck.

It's not you. It's those stupid @#$% pull-string thingys! :rotfl2:

Oh those poor folks standing in the 75 minute standby line:

Suckers!

and Hunter said “There’s no way that a T-Rex could do this! His arms are too short!” and proceeded to mimic a dinosaur with really short arms which had us all in stitches. Boy, stop that craziness and get in! We have some targets to hit!

Aw, but it's funny!

Hunter a/k/a Mr. I Used To Stay On My X-Box 23 Of The 24 Hours In A Day’s score? The highest in the car for the day.

Nice work Hunter!:thumbsup2

No pictures of the coffee or Sprite but I did think to take a picture of the churro:

Aw, I really wanted to see the Sprite! :lmao:

Actually, I'm just impressed Hunter ordered something besides pizza.:rolleyes1

Oh my the sea of strollers! If DD wasn't so little I would be refusing to bring one. One thing I can say for sure I am NOT looking forward to dealing with.

Too Funny about the a T-rex playing TSM:rotfl:! He does have a point though. The arms would be too short!

I'm a loser and I have never done Toy Story bc we have never been able to get fastpasses for it and I can't stand in line with the kids for that long.. GEESH! Hoping super bad that we can do it next time. Our boys love Toy Story.

I am definitely one of those that has a stroller with the sea of em. It is hard trying to find them for sure. Especially when they move them at MK.

I tried looking up the book, but nothing comes up! I can see that the opposite page says "Scooter the Squirrel skipped merrily along", but no matches to that on Google!

Love the picture of Hunter with the churro! George was shocked at how big it is! :lmao:

Okay, so you didn't say which language, but I know for a fact that "NO" in many languages is..."NO". That shouldn't be hard. Grrr... My daughter is learning Spanish, so maybe I will "use" her to "help" on a future trip! ;) :rolleyes1

At least if you were crazy/desperate enough to get in a 75 min line for TSMM, there's stuff to look at along the way. Genius Disney.

I sure hope someday I can meet your family in person and just walk around with you and listen to you guys talk. You're SO FUNNY!!!! :rotfl:

That is so funny what John said about Ursula :rotfl::rotfl: I would of been laughing out loud too ! Oh dont feel bad about your score at TSM ours was pretty close to yours :crazy2: Here is our scores the very same day you were there :confused3 I did win over my granddaughter but not by much.

I come here for this:

"Makes me madder than a hornet!"

"He’s so cute, I could sop him up with a biscuit."

I think you need a book of quotes!!!! :lmao: :rotfl: I'd buy it.

I ditto all of this! Plus the snortin' comment and "chaps my behind." :rotfl: Love!

I love the LIttle Mermaid show! So much fun!

And I'm sorry about those rude people who pretended not to speak English. That chaps my behind too.

So we are still stroller people, and yes, trying to find yours in that sea of strollers when it's not where you left it? Not fun. Not fun, my friend. And we always try to park ours in a more inside spot hoping it won't get moved, but it ALWAYS does. Always. I won't miss them one day.

Love TSMM. LOL about the T-Rex comment. It's true, though. You know what I've found about that ride, though? We've done both stand by and FP, and the stand-by time is always posted at around 75 minutes. We have never waited that long. I think 25 minutes is the most we've waited in stand-by and that was when the line was outside the building. I think they need to get a better handle on that.

Holy churro! It looked never ending. Like it went straight into the ground!

We will be out of strollers on our next trip, but I found that if I tied a unique bandana (or scrap of fabric) to the handle it was easier to find in the Clump-o-strollers. Thanks for giving me my Disney fix until my next trip. Hoping for Spring Break (fingers crosed).:cool1:

Ugh, before I had my son, I never even noticed stroller parking. But that first time we had to go inside the Animation Building, I almost had a heart attack. There's just so many! It was impossible to imagine them all in the park at one time.:rotfl2:

I couldn't help but laugh at the Rex joke. It's a good point...:lmao:

I have to say I am VERY glad we did not need a stroller at DHS when we went during Star Wars Weekend! That would have been a nightmare:scared1:

We loved Toy Story mania!! I keep my focus on shooting the whole time and still did not do as good as my husband whom had to let me know about it.

That Churro looks soooooo good!!!!

I am hoping to take a trip with a stroller in the next year or so. I already mentioned it to Paige. Let's hope she decides it's a good idea! :wizard:

I am terrible at Toy Story too. I usually do better on Buzz by hitting something totally random that I have no clue I have hit.

The dreaded stroller parking and "helpful" re-shuffle. UGH... That happened to us once when we went on Haunted Mansion. We came out, I panicked that the stroller was gone. They'd moved it to this back area and it was soaking wet because they hose down the roofs so the fireworks don't spark anything.... I was NOT a happy mom :)

Still here and reading along! :surfweb:

I have to agree with everyone about your southern talk/sayings. Never heard "chaps my behind" but I love that. Going to try and use it this week. :rotfl:

We love the animation building but it seems anymore it is hard to just walk up to an animation class. They need to think about adding more seats or maybe making this a FP. We used to just walk right in but that seems impossible now. The Mushu movie is cute.

The sea of strollers is insane. I wonder what its like to be the CM that organizes them. Hopefully it is a job that rotates with another. Can you imagine doing that all day?:sad2:

Ya'll still here? I sure hope that you haven't abandoned ship thinkin' that I had done up and left ya'll. I haven't! I promise! It's just been a little busy around our house.

I've been trying to take Mama Christmas shopping some on the weekends 'cause she doesn't feel comfortable going out to the Mall or some of the big stores by herself. She is, after all, 80 years old and doesn't move quite as fast as she used to. In her mind, she's thinking that she'd be easy pickin's for the vultures who prey on the weak and easy to pick pocket during holiday shopping. :(

We went to three stores for her to look around and we were gone for 3 hours and 45 minutes. I can handle being gone for hours but I like to cover some ground. That doesn't happen when shopping with Mama. She's a slow mover and a slow decider. Do I want this? How does that look? Would she like this one or that one? Over and over and over and over and over and over again.:faint:

Our nephew's wife wanted us to make an almost four foot long boat shaped shelf (yep, I said boat) for their son's 2nd birthday party. We went to the shop and started piddling around, trying to figure out how to curve the wood at just the right angle and, after a few hours, we had a boat:

I put the pictures on Facebook for my nephew's wife to see and she loved it. And, so did some of her friends and one of my nieces. They all want to borrow it. Excuse me people but we made this for family not for strangers. The niece that wanted it in the first place is going to use it as a decoration (and possible cupcake display) at my nephew's 2nd birthday party. I'm cool with that. My other niece is going to use it at my nephew's Eagle Scout celebration to display some of the various projects that he's done over the years in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. I'm cool with that too.

I don't mean to sound all stingy or a stick-in-the mud but John and I did not put all that work into the project for perfect strangers to think that they can just whilly nilly come in and snatch it up. They make stores and rental places for that people. I sit here typing this and I feel as if I am sounding like the guy that Clark Griswold stopped and asked for directions from and the guy said "For free?" :lmao:

It'd be nice if the people who are wanting to use it would say "Hey Mrs. Lisa......" instead of posting things like "I need this!". I don't know, maybe I'm just getting to be an old fart fiddling fuddy duddy? :confused3 Honestly, though, ask anybody who knows me and they'll tell you that I am a generous and caring person. I give to others even when I may be struggling myself. Wait a minute! Stop right there! I now know why I am having such a problem with this situation. With the exception of my two nieces, the people who just have to have the boat are people who have money to blow and they do blow it.

Anyway, I'll get off that subject 'cause I am doing nothing but making myself mad and making ya'll think that I am old grippy gut.

Let me get back on the subject of shopping because that makes me smile. Shopping makes me smile? Not usually but it does when the end result of those shopping excursions = lots of new outfits for Disney! I've bought quite a few new shorts and shirts that were on clearance racks and now have eight, yep, eight entirely new outfits to wear on our next vacation and a new swim suit. When we went to the fabric store last Friday, they had some fabric on sale for $3.98 a yard and I bought enough to make both Lacey and I new dresses to wear to the luau at the Polynesian. Total cost for the fabric was $17.21! If I had to figure up a total for everything in my head, I'd say that all eight outfits, the dress fabric and swim suit were just a tad over $100.00. Can't beat that with a big stick!

In between all of my other "projects", I also made Hunter a vest for his Joker costume for the church Fall festival. It turned out pretty good considering I had no pattern and was winging it. He loved it so that's all that matters.

Oh well, let me get back to work. I wanted to make sure that you're all still there. I hope to get replies posted this afternoon and if I can get my bear of a boss outta here, I may even get an update posted.

Of course we are all still here Lisa!!! Love, love, love that boat shelf. You must copyright it!!! And no, you are not being all fuddy duddy about it. You made it for a certain purpose and that's what it should be for!!! Awesome job!!! :cool1:

I'd never abandon your report!

That boat shelf is amazing. If people wanted to "borrow" it, I'd charge them. Not your nieces obviously, but their friends who want to use it. Charge a rental fee! Nothing wrong with that.

I am SO not looking forward to those stroller days. :headache:

Kathy, I do believe that both you and I know that our stroller days will be coming sooner or later once we have grandbabies.

The last time we did the drawing class, we missed Mushu. They had a class going in and needed two people and we fit the requirements so we went right in. I'm with you...love Mushu.

Mushu is adorable!

Oh Hunter...you silly young man.

Love the photo of the Chillin' with the Villian Churro eating Hunter

Hunter is such a funny boy and he was loving that churro.

ALL THOSE STAIRS! YES!!!!

still a fun ride. to wait that long?? I don't get it! :confused3

You get an "A" for attempting to take pictures!!! :thumbsup2

I have never done a stroller in Disney thank goodness and it will be a very Looooong time before i have ANY grandkids!

I come here for this:

"Makes me madder than a hornet!"

"He’s so cute, I could sop him up with a biscuit."

I think you need a book of quotes!!!! :lmao: :rotfl: I'd buy it.

You are a lucky woman that you haven't had to do a stroller at Disney. I just told Kathy that I bet we'll be pushing strollers filled with grandbabies sooner or later.

I am so happy that you enjoy my "Southernisms". I've got a whole lotta them since I've lived in Louisiana all my life.

I get so excited every time I see an update! I just love this report. Your family sounds like so much fun!

I suspect Hunter and I may have a birthday around the same time based off of his pin. I'm June 2nd!

I am so itchy to start booking things like ADRs and such for next summer. My boyfriend actually booked us a surprise trip to Clearwater for the week for NYE so I may gently haggle and get us to head on over to MK for a day if possible. I can't be that close and not swing by! Can't wait for your next update!

Aww, it makes me smile that you look forward to seeing my posts. It really does!

Yep, your birthday is pretty close to Hunter's. His is the 24th.

If you are in Clearwater, then I'd definitely try to work in at least a day at Disney.

Love the updates! Rude people aside, sounds like you had a fun time. John cracks me up, as does Hunter. I just love reading your updates -- they are just fun!

We did have a fun time! We don't tolerate rude people well and it's just best that we get away from them as soon as we can.
