Hi there
,
My husband & I are buying a resale contract & are interested in using points for a cruise next fall. I was reading another thread & saw something about at least one person has to pay for the cruise-is this true? It would just be us & we were wanting to use points for both........HMMMMMMMMMM
Thanks,
Melanie

It cost 453 points.
To book with cash it would have cost $4250. If we rent the points at $10, we would come out ahead $280. Plus $75 they charge for making the ressie. It was not worth the hassle of renting our points and following up for the $355 to us, but as you can see, renting the points if you want to go through the hassle and follow up, can let you come out ahead. Whether you use the points, or rent them, make sure you go, because the cruise is FANTASTIC !!!!!!
