Disney Cruise Question

We recently booked our Disney Cruise using our DVC points. We have previously cruised on DCL and are now Castaway Cay Club members. My understanding is that when you repeat cruise with DCL, you receive a stateroom gift. I was told by member service that when you book DCL with DVC points, you do not receive a stateroom gift. She input our Castaway Cay number in the system and said that we would be invited to the cocktail party.

Can anyone confirm (or hopefully refute) the issue on the stateroom gift?

We sailed the Wonder last year on points and got a beach towel as a gift. Maybe they no longer give out gifts to Castaway Club members. We were invited to the cocktail party on our last night. It was worth going.

We have sailed twice on the Magic- 2001 and 2003. We used a combination of cash and points. My parents used all points.Our friend also used points and cash. We all received Castaway Club gifts last year- Beautiful beach towels in each stateroom- we had 5 rooms booked. We were invited to all cocktail parties How you pay for your cruise should have no bearing on Castaway Club .I would check further with another CM .

We sailed 7 day magic, this June on points, and received the stateroom gift.

If I remember correctly I think we received pins in addition to the beautiful beach towels.
