They did right and I know that Walt would be very very Proud!

I have one very very very Happy DD right now!

I better get back to work or else I won't have a job to pay for this and all future cruises!

All the best presume you got your E/BOUND repo place after your phone problems on 31st with DCL, if so i am so pleased for you that they came through.

It is up to Janet to tell the details but she was I am so happy that guest recovery is still alive and well at Disney.

I was one of a few people that were in "ON HOLD LIMBO"

They knew we were there but they could not answer our calls! Talk about Big Brother Watching!:lmao:

We waiting 4-5 hours on hold before they finally cut us off!:scared1: I guess they figured we would give up after a certain amount of time on hold but did not realize our determination!

They verified that we were suppose to be in at the buzzer so to speak!

They came back and gave us what we should have gotten had their system been working for us!

We did not want any special preference, just a chance like everybody else!

I am happy for you. However, I wrote to DCL about the same issues and their response back to me was basically too bad. They are not budging on the price that I was quoted while waiting to get through and being disconnected and then waiting to get through again. The only reason I got a reservation was because I finally paniced and made one online. About the same time I finally got a CM to transfer the reservation only to find out from a fax later that she never got it transferred. So back to the phone lines again. The ship was sold out by the time I got back through and had I not paniced and did a ressie online I would not have gotten a room at all. All this just to transfer our OBC. Had I made new reservations when they opened I would have saved more money than trying to transfer and I would have had a room number. Hugely emotional day and they are not budging on price. I hope you have a wonderful time. We were going to try to sail with everyone but I think our price is too high and I have a very negative attitude towards DCL right now.

That's good news and maybe encouring for others who got shut out. Unless Disney is cancelling other peoples reservations, there must be suites and rooms still out there somewhere.

A similar thing happened to me and I've gotten the same hard-line response. Very, very disappointing from a company that prides itself on delivering "The Disney Difference." All I want to do is to be able to get my on-board discount and credit applied to the reservation I was able to get. I am stunned that DCL refuses to do this.
 
That is great news!!!! But for some reason, I think it is still up in the air for soooooo many of us......

Hoping they just for once come out and admit they made a mistake and fix it across the board for the dedicated guests that make them have a cruise
line.

I agree, I know the CM's were a little stressed, but so were we!!! 4 hours
holding!!!!

I really feel to many guests were really not taken care of the Disney Way....

Hope it works out and everything settles by next week...time will tell
