When we arrived in nassu their was a huge ware house fire right by the terminal that was ot of control. Carnival and another cruise ship was still letting guest out even though the fire was fght on the water by the terminal you could see the flames and feel the heat on the ship. The captain said he dosnt feel safe sending us even though carnival was still send ing guest untill the fire departmen said it was clear. He didn't know what was burning in the ware house he didn't want it to explode while we was exiting and if their was any fumes he didn't want us to get sick. It delayed us till after 10 he pushed back the time we had to be back for the shore excision so we left at 7 pm. They closed half of the shopping due to no power. So you can go with knowing that Disney dose care about you and your safety over making money.

Yes he did The right thing when we got their I was having breakfast to kill to time before lacing th ship and saw the building start to smoke. Then as itchy later the captain made an announcement that he not let anyone off the ship due to the fire he didn't feel safe and didn't want anyone getting hurt because he didn't know what was burning. Everyone was happy that they was on the Disney ship. Because all the carnival guest was walking right past all the smoke and near the fire. The cruise director reconIzed the captain at the shows and he got a huge round of applause. To be fair the carnival ship was their before us and before the fire started but they did not stop let people off once it got bad.
