I've completed online check in and been assigned a boarding group because I'm taking the Disney transfer to Port Canaveral but I had an email to say my passport that I uploaded has been rejected due to lack of color. However with UK passports nowadays they make the biodata page black and white and observation page in color. Last year they accepted it and this year they didn't. I've uploaded it again but if it gets rejected will it cause issues at Port Canaveral even if I bring my original passport with me to Port Canaveral?

You have to bring your original passport along either way. The online system can be finicky.

If the system doesn't accept your passport, then they'll just scan it at the terminal instead. Like @jwalk03 wrote, you have to bring your passport and present it to the cast member checking you in, anyway. It's no big deal.

Hi I just want to update you that the photo of my passport got approved after 3rd attempt and my online check-in is now complete.

Yay! The new US passports now have a b/w photo too. DCL needs to update their IT. On lots of things!
