can anyone please tell me where i can purchase disney cruise line gift shop items other than on the ship????????????

you could try EBay, or I've read some people have found DCL items at the Character Corner's in Orlando, but I forget which mall.. I remember them posting they found t-shirts, but I wouldn't imagine it would be everything on board.

I live outside Orlando and there is a huge outlet mall off of I-4 called "Belz Outlet Mall". They have "2" stores both called the Character Warehouse store and they have really cheap disney merchandise that comes directly from the park gift shops. The mall is so big that they have 2 stores so make sure you visit both because they both have different merchandise. They get new stuff in daily so you never know what they will have. This is the place to buy your souveniers. It is so MUCH cheaper than the parks!!! Happy shopping!!!!

My parents live in Haines City, outside Orlando, and we go to the Character Warehouses whenever I go visit (I am going this Saturday)...sometimes they do have Cruise stuff, but mostly stuff from the parks. It is a lot cheaper though...

FYI - The cruise ships are registered Bahamas, therefore the stores fall under that jurisdiction. This is why you cannot buy DCL items direct from shore. Also if something is damaged or defective, they cannot send you a new one. You can take it back on the ship for a return, but not get one sent to you. GOod excuse to go on another cruise if you ask me!

If there is someone you are shopping for who is hard to buy for, don't count on the Character Warehouse. I go to one in our area periodically; sometimes there is loads of great stuff, and other times that is not the case at all. Perfect if you aren't concerned about just the right thing, a disaster if you are

Thanks, I am looking for some inexpensive 'trader' pins to get for my November Cruise and cheap pins is out of stock for the 'trader 13 pack.'
