My family has 2 staterooms. I've linked them both to my My Disney Experience account. One room is in my brother's name. When it's time for online check in, can I check us both in through the app? Also, he won't need his own My Disney Experience account, correct?

How did you link Disney Cruise Line information on the parks' MDE? I only see park tickets, hotels, and meals that can be linked.

I used my My Disney Experience logon information on the DCL app
Are you talking about having linked the two staterooms on the DCL app, or linked the two staterooms on the MDE app? If you can see the DCL cruise on the My Plans of the MDE app, please tell us how you did that.

Yes, you can check in both staterooms in if they are both under your account. My family always gets 2 connecting staterooms and I do online checkin and reserve activities for both rooms at the same time.

Yes, I also linked our 3 staterooms on the Navigator/DCL app. The question was how is MDE linked to DCL? They are two different apps. Your username and password are the same, but the two apps don't talk to each other, or do they?

If you are taking care of all pre-cruise check-ins and reservations, then no one else needs to set up an account before the cruise. I think that if your brother (or anyone else) wants to make reservations, he will need just the confirmation number and his birthdate in order to access the reservation.

Once onboard the ship, each person can access the DCL app by registering with a cabin number, name, and birthdate.

MDE isn’t linked to the Disney cruise line app. You use the navigator app for all things disney cruise line and the MDE app for all things Disney world.

I do online checkin on my iPad thru safari. I have never attempted it thru the navigator app. But, when I check in, I do it for both rooms and then go to my plans and pick all the onboard activities for both staterooms at the same time.

We agree with you. The original poster said that they had connected their rooms with the MDE; we were questioning the validity of the statement with a request to be told how they did it (instead of just saying, "You're wrong!!").
