I LOVE our pictures....I still wanna see more! The shells on the cake are great! I have said it before, but the onboard planners are sooo helpful (well not mine too much, but other ones...LOL). How is Castaway Cay with the new additions?

your pictures came out so nice :) :yay: you look amazing as well. did you do your own hair of did the salon do it on on the cruise for you?

Kathysf1014- Wow your photos are gorgeous! You have given me hope for onboard photography! Everything was so beautiful- your cake is awesome and I LOVE your hair!

I've asked this before but i don't know that I ever got an answer so my apologies for the repetition:

Does anyone know if on cruises with multiple stops to Castaway Cay if you get to choose which stop your wedding happens on?

I'd rather get married on the first stop so I don't have tan lines in my pictures! :)

Ok here goes:

We wanted the picture CD only but recently found out that we had to order a photo package to be able to buy the CD. We went with the celebration package figuring if we have the CD that this package would work fine so that we didn't have to scramble to pick out all the pictures that you get in the Magic package since our wedding is Friday at CC and we leave the ship on Saturday. Now I am second guessing wondering if it would be smarter to go with the Magic package? I know if we get the CD we get all the pics anyways but do they do anything special to the physical pictures that you get like frames and such like with the other cruise pics? Also does anyone have pictures of the other things you get with the Magic package like the photo albums and wedding announcements? My theory was that we get the smallest package and then the CD that way we have all the photos and can print out ones we want plus have them on the computer since we don't really have picture albums we just keep all our pics on the comp..but like I said now I wondering if the Magic package is the better deal or not?

FYI, Magic package is nine hundred something and the CD with the celebration package will be 750ish....

What do you all think? What did you do or what are you doing? I regard your opinions highly and would love some insight! TIA! :flower3::flower3:

I am going with the celebration package too. I figured go with the smallest package and then I can add the CD if I wanted to. Plus, you can always go with the bigger package once on board if you see the stuff and decide you would rather get the albums and such.

I would go with the smaller one. When we got married the CD was only offered with the largest $995 package. Picking all of those pictures sucked up 3-4 hours of our last day and the albums and announcements were kinda cheesy. Also all of the pictures they print are on glossy paper and I am a Matte kinda girl. We used the CD and reprinted most of ours at Mpix.com and they turned out 100x better then the ones printed on the ship!

I originally booked the smallest package and went onboard the day we got there and begged, pleaded, etc. to just get the CD. They wouldn't budge at all!!! I did however have to make sure they put all the pictures on the CD. They tried to tell me the CD only came with 200 images! They ended up calling the on land coordinator to straighten it all out so make sure you take a copy of the paperwork you sent in to Disney sowing exactly what you get. The photography is an outside company not Disney!

Thank you acomasdiaz and goldeelox!

Your input is greatly appreciated! I think we will stick with the Celebration package and the CD. That way we don't have to pick out a million photos on the last day and we can print them out ourselves, matte. I'm a matte girl too! :thumbsup2

Thanks again girls, another crisis diverted! haha

Just got an update e-mail from Shanda and they approved all of our music and approved to do 7 photo mats with character signatures I am going to use as favors! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:):):wizard::wizard:

Does anyone know of a hidden mickey scavenger hunt for the Disney Magic? I was thinking about including one in our welcome bags TIA!:thumbsup2
