I know another question...did any of you ladies get a thank you gift for the onboard coordinator and the one you work with before you get on board. If so, any suggestions?

Thanks as always!

Can't wait to hear about it :goodvibes How do you feel about it being on Pirate Night? Are you planning on keeping on your dress the whole evening? That is what I planned on doing, but now I don't know :confused3

I would have liked for it to be on a formal night or something like that but unfortunately they don't really have those on the Wonder.

At first, I planned on keeping my dress on for the night but now I think I might be changing out of it. I got this other cute short pink dress that I might be waering instead.

I don't know...I had the best time walking all over the ship and in the clubs in my dress..lots of "Congrats" as you walk around!

We were on the Labor Day cruise, and my son got married on Labor Day onboard ship. The ceremony was at 4pm. We asked Shanda for the earliest time possible because we early seating for dinner. They were very accomodating, giving us a 4pm slot. There was plenty of time for cake, toasts and pictures. They opted not to do a first dance, saving that for the at home reception. Everything went beautifully, and the pictures turned out great (they used Disney photography). Jerome was the best, and continued helping us throughout the remainder of the cruise.

We gave her the bouquet. I thought I couldn't bring it home with me.

I was considering buy a shorter white dress and change into that after dinner. The main reason is I don't want to ruin it if we decide to do park pictures and I want to wear it again at our at home reception.

I figured if I am speading all that money on a dress...then why not get my monies worth :rotfl:

This is a good thing to hear :cool1::cool1:

Wait...you can take your bouqet off the ship? I thought you couldn't remove those items?

Cut flowers MAY be removed (according to the Customs Agent I asked)..it is plants in soil that they will not allow to be removed.

We even took off my daughters bouquet that was not purchased from Disney!

now the cake..I wish I could have taken that with me in a box..but that is not allowed!:guilty:

Yes you can take your bouquet off because it's brought on in the states.

They may not have offical formal nights on the Wonder, but I have seen everything from casual dressy, to long formal gowns, on the night of Triton's restaurant dining. I personally have worn long gowns twice on the ship. Why? Because it's gorgeous and an excellent excuse to get gussied up! :)

Our VR was on Pirate Night, and we sadly missed the Pirate party since we did our private dinner reservations in Palo's. But the food was out of this world, so it was worth it! I still dream about the food from there. Yummy!

I also wore my dress all day long and all over the ship. It was so much fun. I was able to get this pic on my way to dinner:

Then this one was an accident - we were taking the kids to the kids club and Stitch was on his way down to do a meet and greet and we ran into him. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip!

We walked right off with our flowers and no one said anything other than congratulations!

Also, we debated about getting our coordinator a gift, but we never did. Oh well.

Thanks for all the positive comments...I am happy to hear I will be able to take my bouqet with me :goodvibes

I am waiting for Shanda to respond to an email I sent last week Tuesday...does anyone know if she on vacation? Usually she is really quick in getting back to emails.....
