Hi Everyone.

I'm getting married on the Wonder and we set sail Oct 17. I was wondering if you guys could give me some ideas for areas for musts for pictures. Also, we were thinking of doing Epcot pictures would it be worth it?

Any other tips would be wonderful.:)

You're setting sail on my birthday- that's good karma! :lmao: I'm interested in photo ideas as well, and although I haven't had my park photo shoot yet, I think you should go for it! It's a once in a lifetime experience! We want to do MK, but since it's quite pricey we're thinking of doing AK instead, but I think Epcot's a wonderful choice!

I have looked through several of the DCL posters pictures and copied and pasted them into a word document. I will print them out and bring it along to give to my wedding coordinator and photographer. I didn't limit it to just DCL pictures as you can get some other ideas from the WDW weddings or even at home ceremonies. I also jotted down things like picture by the statue in the atrium, sitting on the chars on deck 4, standing in the huge port holes, etc.

I am saving a every penny to be able to do a park photo shoot. The pictures are just wonderful!

Thanks to the people who replied. For the cruise we are taking our own photographer and I want to take some ideas of what we want with us. I have found some pictures but I was wonder if anyone would send me an email with some of there pictures on the island to use to show our photographer.

If your willing to do so please feel free to email me. It would be my name at hotmail.com
It would be greatly appreciated.

I would like like to know the same thing. It looks beautiful :)

I'm sorry it took me a bit to respond but I've been away on my Honeymoon,,, :lovestruc... Valerie from the onboard SPa did my hair, she did a wondeful job. I took her a picture of what I wanted and she nailed it. The cost was $70.00 plus tip. She was wonderful , it lasted all day and night!!!

Thanks...I was hoping that it was under $100 :)

I need some advice....we are havin an on board ceremony and it turns out that it will be on Pirate Night  not what I wanted, but what can you do. Anyways...at first I really wanted everyone to choose late dinner to have more time for pictures, etc., but now that Pirate Night falls on this night, I want people to be able to enjoy the spread and not feel rushed through dinner.

For those of you who have gotten married on board, what time did you choose for dinner?

Also, if we have a 5:30 ceremony, will I still have enough daylight for pictures of the beautiful blue sea?

So October/November?? It does get dark quick at that time..especially in the eastern Caribbean..5:30 was perfect in July but I think by 6:00 it will be dark

maybe moved inside for pictures with the pirate characters??

Our vow renewal is next month and it's also on pirate night. We have the early seating and I have requested the earliest ceremony time which I believe it 4:30pm.

OUr VR was in December, we sailed 12/10 so our VR was 12/11. We had teh 430pm ceremony and a reservation at Palo for 6pm. We were supposed to be on deck, but got rained out and were inside the lounge. We started a few minutes late, had a short ceremony, cake adn dancing. we were outside for pics by 530pm and the sun had already set, it was dark and i have all nightime pics. Since you are in October you could do the 430pm ceremony and have time for a few outside daylight pictures, but not many. As for Pirate Night, we were in Palo from 6-9pm (yeah.....we went WAY Over our time) then headed right to the Pirate Deck Party.....it didn't really start getting really busy until after 10pm when late seating dinner got done.

this was the 1st picture we took.....right as we got up on deck at 530pm

and just 5 minutes later it was DARK!!!

I know, isn't that nice! I wish they were all like that!

Aww I love that photo! I want one too- wearing our bride and groom ears lol

that's one thing we missed.....because it was so dark and we really wanted pictures on deck, we went straight from the ceremony to outside and didn't get any pictures inside the ship or with characters.

Can't wait to hear about it :goodvibes How do you feel about it being on Pirate Night? Are you planning on keeping on your dress the whole evening? That is what I planned on doing, but now I don't know :confused3

Love the first picture!! I am praying to be able to get a few shots like this!
Due to the change in our itinerary (due to a hurricane), we also had our VR on Pirate Night.

I am hoping to get pictures with the charaters after the ceremony or maybe right after dinner....I especially like this one :)
