We got the robes too in a red canvas bag. They were on our bed in our stateroom the first night.

You should have received the watches...they are specially for weddings...Contact your land coordinator and inquire about them. The inside face of the watches say "Disney Fairy Tale Weddings' just like on the robes...you can not purchase them, they come in a storybook. I think I may have PM'd you about these early on.

I think we got ours due to the lost tux pants the morning of our VR...They were trying to accomodate us with gifts...worked for me!

I have to TOTALLY agree with the others here who are frustrated. DD just told me on the phone she is so frustrated that she and her Fiancee are actually discussing going to City Hall in Dallas and getting married there NOW and changing all of their stuff to a VR!!!! At this point I am not sure it would be a big deal, I mean like I said in my last post in reality....they are all VR's since you are married before you leave port!!!

I believe that these girls deserve nothing but the best treatment that DISNEY has to offer I have been to WDW I can't even count how many times, I have been on 4 cruises and am a member of the Vacation Club. I use to work at The Disne Store (before they sold to a Childrens Place) and I have SEEN what they do for Dissatisfied CUSTOMERS!! it is unbelievable. And I am sure many of you have seen it on trips to WDW.

There is no reason that they cannot have the Captain read a simple passage or do a special ceremony to remember a loved one, after all we will be doing it while DOCKED in Nassau, he's not steering the ship!

I have NEVER in all of my trips, cruises or anything EVER had a reason to be angry or unhappy with the service I have had with Disney, as a matter of fact we have been amazed at what people will complain about, but this is not right I agree with EVERY WORD that PIXY posted here, I have not talked to Cathy since I am just Mon of the bride and DD told me she sent Cathy yet another e-mail today and doesn't even expect an answer until the new year but she is standing up for herself.

Goldeelox I am going to send her your email (thanks for offering) I am not sure she has too many more questions as she told me today she will get on the ship and when she meets with whomever there she will TELL them what she wants and if they are not accomidating she will make sure they know how unhappy she is with the service she is receiving.

Sounds horrable I know, but they are paying for a service and they deserve answers to questions, they deserve a right to small additions, they deserve respect.

Belle, your dd is doing her ceremony on the deck in Nassau? Mine is on CC and I don't even think the Captain is the one who performs my ceremony. I assure you, i'm not all excited to have him do it so i'll just skip what i want said! This is the start of your DD's new life as husband and wife. It had better start with the words she wants to hear!

29apr00....Thanks so much for your thoughts....as a mom of the bride, I am getting pretty angry now, I do not wanna step on any toes so I (for now) am sitting back and letting her handle this ( after all I raised her...LOL) But I do believe it wouldn't hurt anything to let them all do just a small thing or two it's not like it is going to add to the time so much, pour a little sand and the Captain read a small passage. They so far have like a total of 8 guests (RSVP's not due back till JUNE) but it's not like they are even takin up a whole lot of space but ALL of these people are also PAYING GUESTS and Disnry needs to realize that also.

I am sure this thread is going to continue as these girls start calling Cathy on a regular basis...PLEASE GIRLS KEEP US UP TO DATE ON YOUR CALLS AND ANSWERS SO WE CAN ALL SEE HOW IT IS GOING FOR ALL OF YOU.

As Angry as I got during the planning process, it was smooth sailing lmao: I crack myself up) once I stepped onto the ship. Well besides the picture mess!

Any time you guys have doubts just look at my pictures and remember that it was sooo great!

Now that being said fight for each and everything you want. Hopefully next years brides will not have these issues that we all are having/had now!

Yes!! We all bride to be's definatly need to "stick together"!! We are supposed to be happy planning princess's NOT stressed out cruella deville!!!!

I mean, I've had my planning kit for months and have to have it returned in almost 60 days!!!! Their are going to be questions!! I personally don't think she really cares. It's just "a job" to her!

Do they let you have your first dance to the WHOLE SONG that you pick, or do they cut it short?

I'd love to wear my dress to Palo, just don't know how much room I will have. My train is a cathedral and the bottom is poofy. I'd hate to knock peoples drinks over! LOLOLOL

awww..thanks. I'm kinda short, only 5'. So I had to get some pretty high heels. I was afraid for anyone to alter it, with that sheer overlay.

I found some really neat pictures on here of the mad hatter cakes. They are so pretty!! I love the mickey heads!! I like the mickeys on that mickeys delight too. But would want to add flowers or something to it, so its not so plain!! (If I ever get to talk to Cathy long enough to give her my ideas) LOL
I can't believe that we can't have them read something special! There goes my idea.........

not sure about that yet. i do have a new ring we are getting just for this occassion, but i'm not sure if dh will want to do that or not. i need to work on the flow of the ceremony and what exactly i want in it.

are you sure they can't bustle the dress?? I wondered about the lace covering mine..but the seamstress made it perfect..you can't see she took it in 2" on each side

I believe it was DisneyDmbNut who said something on here about posting the actual Wording to the ceremony??? If that is the cast can you please tell me where it is or how I might be able to find it?? I would love to be able to send it along to DD so she can see what she has to work with. I know she is determined to have the thing about the Engagement ring read durring the ceremony!! I spoke to her again last night and she told me she sent another e-mail to Cathy and said she "KNEW" that some of the things she is asking for had been done before (Gee wonder how she found that out??)

I think that seeing the actual wording of the Ceremony might help her out a bit...she is having a Wedding not a VR so I am not sure but I would think that it is different. Again any help would be appreciated.
