Oh thank you so much for that list!! I can't wait till hubby gets home to go over it with him!! Thank you!!

I looked at your pictures, those are beautiful!!!! WOW!! They did a great job.

I was undecided for a awhile if to choose deck 7 or sessions because I wasn't sure how much they decorated or if I needed to bring some decorations of my own......

It will just be the hubby and me on the ship. Did you two get a first dance? Oh, and can you choose the Disney music for any of those?

We were in Sessions and I did like it, but as I have said above, since seeing Betsy's photos I wish we were on the deck. Sessions is just somewhat dark. They do decorate with bows, I am not certain if you can see them in any of my pictures or not.

Yes, you do get a dance, and you do get to choose a song. We wanted Clint Black's "Something that we do" so we had to bring the CD and they played it. Have a great time. I do have the entire "VR package" on microsoft word, so I will try to send it to you.

Oh, and Im curious, has anyone ever invited their servers or housekeeper to the vow renewal? I know it sounds silly but I think it might be kinda neat since they are apart of this Magical trip.

i didn't..I think my servers were getting dinner ready and my room steward was starting his rounds

We did not do a first dance or toast on deck..we just took pictures with the music in the background then went to Palo

I love your pictures from Palo. We have decided to go ahead and eat their on our vow renewal night. We had never tried it before so are going to give it a shot!!

Hopefully they will let us do our cake cutting and toast on the deck and then we can take the top part of the cake up to Palo.
Being that its just the two of us, I would get a little nervous doing it in Palo,standing out in the crowd.
I showed my hubby your pics and he's gonna copy your hubbys wardrobe!!! He wants to be more comfy being that I'm still gonna have him dress up for Formal night too!! poor hubby! LOL

I was told that if we have a song of our own that we like that they don't offer, we can always bring the cd with us and they will play it. Which is pretty cool, because we have some of our own favorites too!!

Im still in the proces of dress hunting, you know the veil or no veil, poofy or non poofy! LOLOLOL

Just had to "pipe in" about inviting servers - we invited ours. We had our VR at the end of a 10 night cruise, so the servers were well aware of our plans. It was on formal night so they were already wearing their formal "costumes" (tux like). If I remember correctly they had to get permission to join us, but were thrilled that we asked. They said that all of their co-workers were very jealous! They looked so happy at the ceremony. When the champagne was being passed out they declined and then the captain saw them and insisted that they share in our toast. The look on their faces was priceless. Our VR was at 4:00 and so they had to hurry off after the cake cutting because of the first seating. We really enjoyed having them there - we saw one of them on a later cruise and they couldn't stop thanking us for inviting them.

That was so sweet of you. I guess we won't know our servers too well, since our VR is the second night of our cruise. Sounds like they really had a nice time.

Thats great!! Cathy said that our vow renewal is on Semi-Formal night. It will be on night number 6 of our seven day cruise. I believe she said it will be at 4:30pm.
I'm for sure going to invite them. In fact, I had a brain fart! LOL
I'm going to make up some cheap little invitations just for the servers and give it to them on like our 3rd night dining. I'm sure they will love it!!! I hope so anyway!

bella.....it is on it's way. I have to say that the pianist was fabulous...it was so beautiful in the background, and then my husband happen to tell Florencia that I loved the Ariel....he started to play Part of your World without missing a beat....really wonderful.

Adam was our pianist and he chuckled when I gave him the sheet music and said "i am not sure if you can play this or not" apparently, he was a classically trained piano player and it was a piece of cake!!

he played it for us in the Cadillac lounge before his regular set..it made me cry that he played it right away

Hi all-
I have to admit, I've been lurking. I have loved hearing about and following all your stories for your DCL VR (DisneyDumbNut, Cheryl, Patty, 29apr00 and more).

My story is similar to yours. I got married 9 years ago, but couldn't plan a DFTW because I really wanted a traditional chinese wedding. But of course we honeymooned WDW. At that time DCL only had the 4day and 3days, but we wanted to be in one place for the entire week, so we did just WDW then (mind you we knew we were going to do WDW for our honeymoon before we even got engaged). Anyway, then you all know how it goes, house, kids, kids are too small... And now they are finally both in school and it's coming upon our 10th anniversary.

We had to do a DCL cruise and a VR! We are going on the Nov 14, 09 double dip. So we're too early to officially reserve our date. But I've talked to Cathy already and she really is sweet.

I want to thank you, thank you for all sharing!!!
