Does anyone have any great ideas for my friend who will be doing a disney cruise wedding to try and make it more personal event? I know there must be some very creative minds out there who have done some cool things.

I wanted to make her a "disney cruise bride" t-shirt of sorts similar to what the girls wear around the parks after their wedding, but havnet found a good template of that either.....so if anyone has anything they can post etc that would be great.

Her wedding is in November.

thanks gals!:)

I don't think I've got my creative head on right now as I can't think of any really good ideas, but one thing they seem to be keen on over on the cruise board ( and we did see plenty on our cruise ) is personalised magnetic plaques for the cabin doors ( which are metal! ) some people have ones with their user names etc and some have blank boards with a dry wiper pen attached so you can write ( nice ) stuff as you pass. It would be a nice idea to have a "we're getting married" sign with a space for people to write their congratulations, wouldn't it?

I think your t-shirt idea is wonderful!
They have really neat t-shirts and maybe you could get Mickey and Minnie Mouse bride and groom cookies personalized with their names and wedding date as favors??? Just a thought.

My Disney Cruise Wedding is in November too! What date is her wedding cruise?

They aren't "Disney" but a friend of ours got us matching flip flops (his were black and mine were white) that said "Just Married" on the bottom. As you walk on the beach, they leave these words as an impression in the sand. Kind of fun, although I had to step VERY hard to make mine work!

P.S. We didn't use them for the wedding, but once we changed to our suits and came back out to Castaway Cay, they were a hit! :thumbsup2

I've seen those too - they are SUPER cute! :cutie:

I saw them at TARGET of all places recently. Of course you can get them on The Knot's website and The Wedding Channel's website too but if you get them at Target you don't have to pay shipping!

Have you tried Gifts of a Lifetime, or looked as the special items that you can order through the cruise line. DCL has baskets and such. You could also do a shipboard credit for the spa, pictures, or excursions. We put these items on our registry and we LOVED the spa. Tell her to do the exotic rasul! Unforgetable, in every way....

I don't have any good ideas to help (sorry), but aren't you just the sweetest friend ever??

You know the creative board on here does great designs on request. I forgot about them for a bit. They are really talented!

Great ideas, I will look into those.
thanks:)

I am getting married on the disney cruise in september, and I found door clings at oriental trading that you can have personalized, with your names. Saying Just married and the bride and grooms name. They also have the flip flops on this site too.
