Disney Cruise, 4 night, July 17, 2017

We are doing our first Disney cruise and very excited/overwhelmed!! I'll be with my son (10) and my parents who are also DCL first timers. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and the ship better!!

Hello, there! We are as excited about your 1st DCL cruise as much as we are for our own Our youngest DS is 11 and loves the Oceaneers' club and lab. As we get closer to the cruise and the FE (fish extender) list is available, we can exchange info to meet.

I’m so behind in Christmas cards and holiday trip packing that it’s much easier to leap forward and plan for 07.17.17!
Just wondered if anyone had started the daunting task of collecting FE participants… if so, we’re a family of 4 looking to join.
I’ll search FB to join there; though it’s a shame not to keep it on DisBoards…darn the restrictions!

Those are great photos! What a difference 10 years makes! I’m sure you and your family will have a great time on this cruise. We’ll be sailing with a large group of family members as well and hope to see you all on board.

I am looking forward to Animator's Palate with the grandkids, then Meridian Lounge for cigars with the son and son-in-law.

Skyline is definitely my favorite lounge on the ship. Love the rotating nighttime pictures of the various cities and the unique cocktails. Of course you can’t go wrong with the Meridian lounge either. Love the view there and the bar is probably the best on the ship. Look forward to relaxing there before and after our dinner at Palo.

Each of our family members will be decorating our doors during the cruise. Will everyone else be decorating your doors? If you have decorated in the past will you share your photos of your door?

Hey everyone! My husband and I will definitely spend some time in Skyline----I enjoy the martinis they offer and by purchasing a martini package it saves me a little money so I can't possibly go wrong

Anyone interested in FE?

Skyline may be a good spot for a "DisBoard" meet and greet so we can all introduce ourselves. Our last cruise we had a great time meeting everyone who we met in the forum.

I know we will be decorating our doors and will enjoy FE with the grandkids. We probably will not extend to others, but that could absolutely change.

Any other cigar smokers? I will enjoy a few at Meridian during the cruise.

Good morning Daisy,
I believe once you are checked onto the ship you are good to go for the entire journey. I do not recall having to go through any customs or filling out forms like you do on airplanes when coming back to the US.
