Disney costume sizing?

We bought the Mickey costume (size 6-12 month) and it is a little big on our baby, does anyone know if these costumes shrink when washed in hot water?

A friend of mine got the 18-24 mo. for her ds; and it was a little big on him too. She washed it, and it only got a little shorter in the body--not in the arms and legs where she really needed it to shrink. HTH-Dana

 

[Fox&Hound]

I think they run very large. My DS is wearing a 6-12m Winnie-the-Pooh costume. He is almost 15 months old and is average height for his age.
