I'm a little confused. Was a "Yes" a vote to REJECT the contract or ACCEPT it ?

The "Yes" vote was to Approve the Contract

The "No" vote was to Reject it.

How could the union possibly enforce an threat like that ! Did the members put their names on their ballets ?

No, what I heard was from another Union member who is also in the Teamsters Union, He had ask his wife if she had voted "No" but she told him that she was only allow to vote if the ballet had a "Yes" on it. (his wife is in Local H.E.R.E. Local 737).

Each of the six Unions had a different Color Ballet, for instance the Teamster Ballets were all Blue. The Six unions could then count the Ballets that were Cast as well as those that were not used then compare them to the Voting roll each union has, this was done to make it harder to the stuff the ballet boxes.
