Wow, what a difference twelve hours makes. I was there yesterday and noticed that area under construction, but there has probably four feet of water in it (Gustav ). My DDs even noticed the "new" wood smell of the bridge. On a side note, it looks like you stayed much drier than us. The ponchos went on and off about six times between noon and 7 PM. On the plus side, we were able to ride about anything we wanted without much of a wait.
