Disney Confessions

I like Stitch's Escape.

I don't like Dinosaur.

I hate the movie Wall-E.

I am secretly married to Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. (so secretly, they don't even know. So the rest of y'all, back off!) :rolleyes1

Not big on AK. I don't ride the rides there. I only like one show. We pretty much ignore it, unless DH wants to do Everest or DD wants to do Kali.

*ducks behind a wall to hide from the flames* Most of the people I've encountered at DL/WDW have been nice. But then I run across those people who make me want to just slap them silly. You know, those people who push in front of the kids at parades or shows; the strollers/evc people that think because they have them, they can do whatever they want, including running into you or rolling over your foot; people who seem to think that they need to speak LOUDER because they are speaking in another language; and worst of all, parents who refuse to parent. Those are the things I hate most of all at Disney.

hmm lets see:

-Big Thunder Mountain needs to go. I'll go on it if I'm with a group who wants to, but I have no personal desire to ever ride it again.
-The best steak I've ever had is from the Sci-Fi.
-No attraction in any of the parks should run 45 minutes. Yes, Ellen's Energy Adventure, I'm talking to you.
-Animal Kingdom is a glorified zoo with some carnival attractions.
-Pop Century is my favorite resort. (Though to be fair, its been over a decade since staying at a non value resort in WDW.)

Le Cellier is way over rated.
I love AK and usually spend 2 days there.
I ride Carousel of Progress and Living with the Land every trip, and Universe of Energy about every other trip.

I LOVE that so many people don't understand fastpass and therefore don't use it! More for the rest of us! :dance3:

Mine are:
* I absoutely HATE Tinkerbell!
* A Bug's Life is the most boring Pixar movie.
* I actually liked Cars and I'm excited to see it's sequel. (I know it's not popular with Disney/Pixar fans, but I liked it)
* I've never had a Dole Whip and honestly, I don't think I will it looks gross to me.
* Animal Kingdom is my least favorite park.

I hate tinkerbell too! haha

:flower3:My Disney Confessions are:

My kids know that I have a little crush on Johnny Depp and so every time we see him in movies they always say "there's Mom's boyfriend!!"

I would love to go to WDW by MYSELF some day- if only for just a couple days!! :rolleyes1

I too have never had a dole whip and not sure if I ever will.

Not a big fan of AK.

I think waiting in line to do a Character meet and greet for over an hour, even 15 mins, is a waist of time!

I am on the DIS boards at least once a day!:surfweb:

Can't wait till we are debt free and can go to our very first paid in full trip to WDW!!! :cool1:

I'm sure there is more, but these are the tops!

The parades are nice...but everyday?

Dislike AK very much...don't see the point

I have not tried a Dole Whip...and will not! I hate pineapples with a passion

ToT...NEVER!

If you come to America please speak English! (no flaming please...my opinion only)

I hate Sci-Fi.....will probably never go back!

I love all the characters....I do get giddy iniside when I see them....feels magical somehow

Love, Love the Castle....takes my breath away when I seen it!

Like all the different resorts and they different personalities

And Love seeing the faces of all the kiddos walking around....makes me smile

and yes, between you and me....would love a solo trip to the World!

I liked the original Universe of Energy with the pre-show that had all the changing video squares. Now it is so dumbed-down.

I didn't like The Land Pavilion when it was Kraft-sponsored because I think their products are hokey (Velveeta, anyone?). I don't like The Land Pavilion now, because it is Nestle-sponsored, and Nescafe-Disney "coffee" is a nightmare witch's brew.

The cream cheese pretzel I had at MK must have been under a heat lamp too long. One bite, and I tossed it out.

I always go to the Carousel of Progress. I went to it at the 1964 World's Fair. I think my interest goes back to that time.

I absolutely adore Chester and Hester's DinoLand USA. It reminds me of so many do-it-yourself tourist traps our family drove by in the 1960s rural America. I love the quonset hut at Restaurantosaurus and eat there very time. Also, the old Airstream "travel" trailer parked there that is (apparently) so leaky and decrepit that someone put a "permanent" roof structure over it long ago (in the make believe story). All the little stories, the rides, the souvenir store, the artifacts, and the artwork, are an artistic joy to me!

Never had Dole Whip. Sorry, I can't stand soft-serve vanilla ice cream, and no amount of pineapple can hide the sorry white stuff underneath.

:littleangel:

I really want to roll my eyes and fall out laughing when I hear grown men and women use expressions like "sprinkle Pixie dust" and "feel the Disney Magic" in everyday conversation (i.e., not on Disboards).:rotfl:

Also,

I really want to ditch the kids and husband on our next trip so I can leisurely eat, drink, and shop my way through Epcot without anyone slowing me down or whining.

-I live very close to Disney and a couple times a summer, a friend and I will spend a day at the Disney pools. We usually hit a more popular pool (Poly, AKL) early in the morning and then when it gets busy switch to a resort with multiple pools so that we don't take away space from the guests. It's cheap and fun and we always behave, I don't see a problem with it. :confused3

-It's hard to spend more than a few hours in DHS.

-I LOVE AK! I could spend all day there and then some. (I even like the Conservation Station :upsidedow )

-In my dozens upon dozens of visits, I've never eaten at CHH or Tony's at MK, Mama Melrose, Le Cellier, or hardly any of the AK restaurants.

-I don't think the bus system is run that badly.

-I HATE Tinkerbell. Never liked her, doubt I ever will.

here are a few

*Never had a dole whip
*Always ride living with the land
*DW watchs more Maury Povich and Jerry Spring at Disney, then at home
*I hate the parades

I just remembered this one:

There was one trip (March 09) where we never changed the channel on the hotel TV. It was the Disney Must Dos the entire time. (Part love of Disney/part crush on Stacey)

I hate Expedition Everest! It scares me and I never want to ride it again!! Same with Dinosaur. Everyone says it's really cheesy but it scares me because it's so dark and things jump out at you. I'm not good with that. I just put my head down and scream the whole time. I've done it twice and will never do it again!!!!

I have to agree about Dinosaur. That ugly orange dinosaur scares the :scared1: out of me. All of the ride photos are of my ducked for cover!

I also spent most of the day in our room watching The Brady Bunch on our last trip (I was so sick, I just wanted to lay in bed).

This is the the only one i could think of so far but... I LOVE ANIMAL KINGDOM!!!

I love this thread.....I am :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:.... I have another confession that I forgot, while on our last trip in 2009, my children ranged in ages of 16,17 and 21 I believe...Anyways, they got into the normal sibling bickering and arguing in the middle of MK, so mama said you guys keep arguing and I am going on my own and you guys can text me when you are ready to get along and act like a decent group of humans, well of course they kept on arguing, mama hands out the cards and says SEE YA!!!!!!! I was gone, I hopped on the monorail and went to HS and had a wonderful, quite time lol...2 Hours later I got a call like this "mom, were are you, we wanna ride rides with you"...We met up and not a ounce of bickering for the rest of the trip....I did not have a ounce of regret as this was the perfect timing to do this because they were getting on my ever loving nerves...LOL....:thumbsup2

never had a dole whip

so frightened of Dinosaur, the end-of-the ride picture is me huddled with my eyes closed--everytime.

some of my must-sees include: tomorrowland transit, carousel of progress, living with the land, universe of energy, france&canada movies in pavillions and hall of presidents

will not go swimming at any time after 3pm

afternoon parades are just silly :confused3

~I love the fireworks in the parks...while everyone is OOOHHIng and AHHHHing over the pretty powder bursts in the sky I'm enjoying little to no wait times for all the major rides :rotfl2:
~I would love to have an adult's only trip for my DH and I
~I dont really understand the need for parades in the parks
~I have no desire to do anything in DHS except for RR and ToT.
~I love WCC, duno why but I do

I hate Nemo. I loved the movie when it came out but now, thanks to Disney plopping that orange fish just about everywhere I hate him. I resent him for taking over the parks in rides and musicals. Someone has to flush that fish!

~Remember no flames~
I hate the Nemo play or musical or whatever it is. It's horrible my family saw it once and we would never ever see it again. The characters are carried around on a stick, thats fine with me, but then the people who carry the sticks are dressed up. Who are you supposed to be looking at! When we first saw it almost all the families around us were sleeping! I love the Nemo movie and stuff but that play thing is horrible!
