I don't want to get into trading pins big time- just not worth the $ to me. They do have a set for $12 for 5 pins- plus the discount. It is a basketball pin set.


Would anyone at WDW even trade for these pins? Or would they not bother because they are nothing special?

I would just want to get a couple for my kids to trade.

I was finally able to get on and saw that set and a few others and was wondering that myself. These should be able to be traded with the CM's, wouldn't ya think? Anyone know??

When we were at WDW in December I was shocked that my DS 6 & 8 were interested in pins. Probably read about it in the Birnbaum's guide I gave them (what was I thinking???). We managed to steer clear of it during the trip, but I did get two sets today (one for each Easter basket).

Last time we were down there CM are required to trade if approached any disney pin. We traded quite a few of ds pins. Happy trading.

I was so excited when I saw this (big tink fan)! When I clicked it to buy it said it was available but as I went to check-out it tells me it is not available. I almost cried! I tried it a couple of times and each time it does the same thing.

as long as a pin has the "Disney" copyright on the back, it can be traded. the "official rules" states that if the pin is part of a set, that you have to trade all pins in the set.. but... we all know how well they enforce the rules

I thought about the basketball set myself.. to use for trading... I tried to get the tinkerbell early this morning, and it was already gone then

I got a few pins for trading on our upcoming trip! But the items I wanted for myself are out! I wish that when they are out of something they would remove it from the page. Oh well!
