Hey Jess,

I have really enjoyed reading the story of your journey. Thanks for sharing.

Will you be sharing what it was about the DCP that put the idea to stay in your mind, and when you began the process? It would be interesting to hear what the impetus was, and if Disney has any structured services to help students make this kind of a transfer. I assume that your new school puts you on the path of a 2nd DCP and an eventual Professional Internship. If so, what kind of timeline is that? How does it affect your eventual college graduation date? Disney is lucky to have someone so committed to them.

Congrats again, and remember to pack a ton of Sabres shirts when you're home. We NYers have to represent no matter where we move!

I was also wondering how your parents feel about your move? I'm sure they are thrilled and proud of you, but how do they feel now that you moved to FL? I guess it just gives them an excuse to come to Disney more often!!

My Mom is actually the one who told me that I should just stay. I was battling with the idea but she just flat out told me that I'm happier here. I think that my parents knew that once I did my DCP this was just inevitable.

That's awesome!! I'm glad you took her advice. You probably will be happier in FL and close to Disney! My DS is going away to college in less than 2 weeks. Even though it's hard on us Mom's we are always extremely excited and proud of our kids following their dreams. He is my first to go away, so I'm a little sad. But he is going to do what he really wants to do and I'll just have to get used to my house being a little emptier and him being 8 hours away!!

Good luck in your endeavors and God Bless! I know you will do great and your Mom and Dad will always beam with pride as I do!!(And my DH too, of course!!)

I have a bad habit of being a lurker, and I figured that you were so busy on your DCP that I didn't want to bother you with extra comments. But I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your magical journey with all of us. I'm so excited to read what else you did during these past 6 months. And I'm so excited for your new chapter of life IN FLORIDA! I wish you the best of luck with everything! I know you'll do great things. And since you will be in FL full time, I would LOVE to meet you when I'm down in Disney in January!!

Finally finished watching your Dis Unplugged episode - you did a great job and totally looked comfortable and it was an entertaining and informative episode (not that their normal episodes aren't, this one was just a bit more frumpy )

And congratulations on the move down to Orlando and being able to keep up working at Disney. I am sure it is a huge decision and not one you made lightly and I hope everything works out - I have suspicions that it will

What? Just checking in now, OMG, Jess that is SO awesome! I and 5 of my CP friends stuck it out past our CP for a summer, and it was a blast! I know many that just enrolled at Rollins or Central Florida after their CP too. You will not regret it, good luck to you! I was just coming to check and to write a little note to say enjoy your last few days of your CP.... Then saw the chatter. I have enjoyed reading your thread since it started, for me it's "nostalgia"

Selfishly, I am so excited that we might now get to meet you in October since we had to switch part of our stay to CSR from POR for FD. I'll tell DD to keep her eye out for Jasmine in disguise when we are in the lobby, she'll love that!

I finally got a chance to listen to the podcast this weekend and I thought you were great! I'm so happy you have gotten to have such a fabulous experience on your college program. I'm really kicking myself for not looking into it when I was in school!

Congrats on the move to Florida, I'm extremely jealous! Coming from New England I'm so over the cold and would love to move close to Disney someday!
