DISNEY COLLEGE PROGRAM - A Spring 2013 Adventure! *COMPLETE* 11/20

I am having trouble following you on Twitter for some reason, but I'm not that versed in it so I'm not sure what the problem is. I was following you, I never replied or retweeted anything you posted, but now you're not on my Twitter anymore... :confused3:worried::(
If you send Jess an email to her account with your twitter name she'll add you back in :)

I think I am officially caught up lol. Great reports, I have followed along with all of them so far!

According to instagram, you are having a great time with your friends! I am eager to read another update, but I'm glad you are taking the time to enjoy yourself while you have visitors :)

I was helping a customer at my store the other day (I work at a baby store) and somehow in conversation, she told me that she works for Mickey Mouse. I told her that I had just gotten back from vacation at WDW and we were chatting about Disney, and she says that she just switched to a seasonal employee and that she worked at Coronado Springs...in Concierge! Of course I thought of your CP and I assume you must work with the woman, but I felt awkward asking her if she knew a girl that I read stories about on the internet :lmao:

Hi Jess! It's been forever since I've been caught up but your updates never disappoint! What an awesome birthday week with your mom and that garden suite... ahhh mazing! Did you find it hard to go to the CL lounge in the main building to partake of the food offerings?

I know you must be having a wonderful time with your fellow frumps! :thumbsup2

Sounds like an awesome day! I'm loving reading ur reports! My favorite was that you thought Ross from F.R.I.E.N.D.S. should be the guy for the dinosaur ride! I say that EVERY time I go on that ride! I'm glad u love friends and Disney!!!

Hi :wave2:
I just found your DCP adventure report and have spent the last 3 days reading to catch up! You are a great writer and have such amazing enthusiasm! I am enjoying every minute of your adventure and am kicking myself for not doing a DCP when I was in college. (Is it too late to go now?)

Anyway....

Happy (belated) Birthday! It is so nice that you got to spend it with your Mom. What an AMAZING room you got! Enjoy!

I am all caught up!! Now off to start in another of your TRs while I wait on an update!!
This is by far the best TR I've ever read :)

Anxiously awaiting an update. Guess I'll just keep up with :laundy: instead. ;) Hope you are having a great time.

The Application Process
September - October 2012

The Disney College Program application process is an adventure in itself. I wrote a few tumblr posts about it, so I thought I would share them to give you all the appropriate background information.

September 21st, 2012:

Ahh looking back on that now it's funny because my friend Sean is the one who got me to apply! He was accepted for lifeguard but he unfortunately denied the offer. Thankfully Mark was able to apply (obviously) and now we are moving to Disney World TODAY.

October 1st, 2012

October 1st, 2012

So about 4 days later, my Mom and I were headed down to WDW for Columbus Day weekend. You can read about that trip HERE.

On the very last day of our vacation and exactly ONE WEEK after my phone interview, I was accepted for my Disney College Program!

October 8th, 2012:
I went home that day knowing that I would be moving back to WDW in only a few months!

Mark got accepted for Costuming a few days later, but then he went to a Character Performer audition with his friend Andrea in Columbus, Ohio. He ended up getting all the way through... and we found out soon after that he was accepted for Character Performer!

We spent the entire rest of the semester counting down and making preparations. Neither of us could even wait!!!!!

Continued in Next Post

So late to this game but I SWEAR I GOT ALL TEARY-EYED WHEN I READ YOU GOT ACCEPTED (even though the TR makes it obvious).
