May 7th, 2013 (Part 2) - Garden Suite Continued!

The outside of the Garden Suite was just as beautiful as the inside, if not more! My Mom and I were absolutely IN LOVE with our specific suite. I think we definitely got the best little yard - there was a picket fence and a heart made out of flowers!

God, that is SO cute.

I love that our suite was 1208. My Mom's birthday is in December (aka the 12) and my birthday is on the 8th. (aka the 8) It was too perfect!

When you step outside of the picket fence, this is the view of our gorgeous little "neighborhood." Aka heaven on earth.

The quiet pool was within our line of sight as well:

This is the outside of the suite. SO. DANG. BEAUTIFUL. I still can't believe that this happened. What an insanely amazing birthday.

Then we decided to head over to the Boardwalk itself!

This is looking back to the path we took - it's so beautiful! I can't believe such a tranquil and gorgeous place exists.

I was enjoying your updates to the "cast" section of your report and almost missed that you had added an update.
You have so many beautiful pics! And I love that Boardwalk painting.
The garden is just completely adorable. If I could spring for a deluxe resort I would choose one of these that are near the international gateway. Such a great location.

May 7th, 2013 (Part 3) - Boardwalk Bakery and Laying by the Pool!

This was my first time inside the Boardwalk Bakery since it's been remodeled. Actually... I don't even know if I had ever been in there before to begin with. Either way, It looks so nice in there now and I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THE FOOD. Because I mean, look at it. It's just pretty.

We sat outside and enjoyed our lunches. I got the roast beef sandwich.

Mom got a fancy salad that she very much enjoyed!

Dessert was next! I got THE STRAWBERRY CUPCAKE. It may be in my top 3 favorite cupcakes of all time. Maybe THE top favorite. It was so light and the frosting was so fluffy! Plus the strawberry flavor and filling was amazing. I was in love. I usually only eat half of the giant cupcakes but I ate this ENTIRE THING. No regrets whatsoever.

Mom got the key lime tart which was not only beautiful but also delicious!

We spent some time in the Boardwalk's gift shop after that. Mom and I made THE BEST PURCHASE EVER - A Macaroni and Cheese Cookbook. People, it's an entire book of mac and cheese recipes. LIFE IS JUST TOO DARN GOOD. That book is one of my most prized possessions now.

Then we went back inside and checked out the Innkeeper's Club level lounge!

They had out my favorite yogurt covered pretzels and homemade chips that they so had at the Yacht Club way back when we stayed there for the frump trip! I also needed a cookie. Yum yum and YUM. I'm glad I ate 3 days worth of calories before 12:30 pm. I'm not mad.

Then after we went back to the room! We changed and headed over to the clown and elephant pool! I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO GO SWIMMING THERE FOR SO LONG AND NOW I FINALLY GOT TO.

The only unfortunate thing about the experience was that the love bugs were SWARMING. Yuck.

Miranda came and joined us before she had work and it was so wonderful to see her!! Ahh I love Miranda. Her and my mom get along so well and the three of us literally could just talk for hours and hours.

We didn't go swimming but we laid in the gorgeous sun. That's definitely one of my favorite things to do! When a cloud was overhead Miranda and I went to go get her lunch on the boardwalk - mozzarella sticks and a mickey cupcake for her break at work!

Miranda had to work at 5 so we went to the room around 4 so she could get ready. She was just as blown away by our room as we were. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!

Yay! So excited to see new updates, although I was trying to wait patiently because I knew you were having a great vacation with the frumps!! That Garden Suite is SO gorgeous!! What could be cuter than a heart made of flowers and a mickey gate. I need that landscaping at my house!! Love the mac n cheese cookbook...my favorite food! The bakery items look so delish too. We got to see the Boardwalk area for the first time on this trip (May 11-20, 2013) and it is so pretty! I definitely hope to get a chance to explore next time.

Happy belated birthday. I am relatively new to your adventures, but I clearly see that you are everything that is wonderful about the World as I call it. My trip in August is inching closer so I am becoming a bit anxious and constantly going over the Dis board for all reports and advise.

Thank you so much I find your updates wonderful. I know you have alot of personal friends that you communicate with, but I do have 1 question.

After seeing that Garden Suite, I wonder if you can tell me a bit more about:
How many does it sleep? Are there pull-out beds from the sofa? Is there another bedroom that we didnt see? etc.

After seeing that suite I want to set my goal for a 2014 visit that I can possibly get into one of those Condos.

I'm excited that you are back to start updating about the past month! But sad that your friends had to go, wouldn't life be perfect if we all just lived in Disney?
Your suite was...just stunning. That is some serious pixie dust, and I'm happy that you and your mom got to enjoy and experience that together! I have seen pictures and videos of the cottage style suites before and it's just like you stepped into a different world. In other words, I am majorly jealous!

We arrived for our annual vacation on 5/9 and yes, the love bugs were terrible! I think they were pretty bad for the first 2 days, and then they seemed to disappear (or we got used to them??)

Looking forward to more updates!

I'm so glad you're back to reporting, for now at least! I can only imagine how busy everything is during your CP; it's such a short period of time and you need to cram every last thing in so you don't miss out.
Those Mickey Oreos in the one picture always entice me, they just look so delicious and who doesn't love an Oreo really?
I can't wait to hear about the Frump trip, from everything on Twitter it looks like you girls had an amazing time!

Yay updates! I had no idea that a garden suite ACTUALLY had a garden! I am dying. Also, I'm excited to see the origin of the Mac & Cheese cookbook! I think you might have mentioned it on Instagram? I tried looking for it while I was down a few weeks ago but didn't try the Boardwalk. New mission for my trip in a few weeks!

The pay rate depends on your job. And you have to pay for your apartment yourself but they automatically just take the money out of your pay check every week.

OHMYGOD. not only is your suite absolutely perfect, BUT THE OUTSIDE. OMG.

that cupcake looks absolutely delicious, which is saying something because i absolutely hate cupcakes, i've probably had like 5-10 cupcakes in my whole life.

gotta love days at the pool, even if you didn't swim. it's nice to just relax in that beautiful Florida sun!
