It's 12/31/03. (Not 02!)

Not a surprise. When they announced that there would be no more park admission discounts with DC, I figured that was the beginning of the end.

I wonder if these cutbacks are due to Disney's bleak financial situation?

No more AMEX deals either? I suppose I should buy dh's hopper pass with my Disney Club Card before I lose the discount He'll need a few days for DISCON

Thanks, Brian! I didn't want anyone to panic when they saw your thread.

My guess as to why it's ending is that Disney probably didn't find the DC to be an effective marketing tool.

Theory is that DC is going away because all the perks it had will be part of the new Disney Visa rewards program that comes out next year.

Well I personally will still have 10% off at TDS from my DVC card, but I really used DC for passes which now does not matter. I hope they don't kill the DVC discount as well.
I'll get a Disney Visa--God knows I always have a card rolling over to save interest.

We really enjoy each issue, and would hate to see it discontinued.

When will the DC park admission discounts be discontinued? Will they discount until the end of 2002? I need to get Mom a new annual pass in December.

I forgot about the magazine--I subscribed before I joined DC, and I have it until 2004. If they stop it I am owed some $$.
