Disney Club Card/Entertainment Rate

Hi All, My understanding is the Disney Club card gives you membership in the Entertainment Club,(it has the logo on the back) but can you use it to get the Entertainment rate in the orlando area hotels. Thanks

We have recieved notice the disney club will be ending in 2003 so it is not worth us renewing,however we did use the hotel discounts from the entertainment book when we spent a week at St Petersburg beach this year.We will be going back to St Petes in 2003 and would use the entertainment book again but we can not get an updated list of the hotels( with 50%off)I have tried the web site..entertainment.com but am unable to get any details

It took a while for me too get through on the 800# but I finally did and this is what I was told by a rep. of the Entertainment Club. When Disney made its deal with them it excluded Orlando area hotels for obvious reasons. It did however want us to be able to get hotel discounts on the way to Orlando. When I called Disney they told me I should be able to use my Disney Club card to get the entertainment rate at any participating hotel. Has anyone else had any other experience.

No the Disney Club does not include the Entertainment discounts. However if you visit Entertainments website, you can grab a book for the area, or even your hometown. That's what we have done and there are great deals on hotels.

I'm not sure if this is the same thing, but I belong to the TDC and used the entertainment logo on the back to get the 50% off discount at the Dolphin in 2001.

I can't imagine they'd block out the other hotels but not the Swan/Dolphin. My guess is if you can use it either of those hotels, you can probably use it at the others also.
