Just a warning, my DD (who will eat chicken nuggets from Wendy's without complaint), had never met a chicken nugget she didn't like until she tried the ones at WDW. We got them in multiple places (because she was picky and there wasn't much else, if anything, on the CS menus she would eat) and each time, she would take a bite or two and we wound up throwing them away. I tasted one to see, and I have to admit, I thought they were nasty too. If he will eat chicken strips, you might try the strips from the adult menu. I learned that trick from another Mom at WL Roarin Forks who was ordering the adult chicken strips for her kids. She said her kids wouldn't touch the kid's chicken nuggets because they said they were gross, but they were fine with the chicken strips. Turned out DD was the same way.
My kids are the same way. They won't eat the kids chicken nuggets, so we buy them an adult meal and they share it.
OP, if you think your DS might be willing to try the adult chicken nuggets, my kids think that Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips (in the frozen food section of grocery store) are very similar to Disney's adult chicken nuggets. They're not exactly the same, but similar. So if your DS likes those, he may like the Disney ones too.
