Disney Chase Rewards and TREX?

Just a quick question, can we use our Disney Chase Rewards at the TREX restaurant?? Thanks.

Disney Gift cards never expire and it;s free to do.

2nd-> And yes you can use the Disney Gift Card (not DDRD's) at the WDW T-Rex, RFC and Yak & Yeti.

Any WDW restaurant which is on the Disney Dining Plan accepts Disney Gift Cards as payment.

Thanks for calling! But when I went to that link I don't see any place to convert a rewards card to a gift card. Any clue if you can do this in the parks or resorts?!?

I have used my Rewards card to buy a gift card and then used the GC or gave it to DD as a gift.

You can buy a gift card at any shop or at GUest Assistance -- they have some neat designs there different from ones I found elsewhere

So I can go online at the GC site, buy the card and transfer my balance or use it to make it a GC? lol Trying to get this straight

Twice I transfered Disney Rewards dollars onto regular Disney GC

Once was when my REwards card was about to expire with points left on it -- I went to a Disney store and they sold me a Disney GC that I purchased with my Disney REwards card.

The second time, I wanted DD to have a 'credit card' of her own so I went to a Guest Assistance window at WDW and got a $15 GC which I used my Disney Rewards dollars to pay with. (This was right after I got the Rewards Card from DTD)

I'm not sure what the standard is but neither time did the CM bat an eye. I just don't know what the official policy is or how they can do it.

As a side note -- if you are trying to pay for T-Rex with a Disney Gift Card I would imagine they would also take the Disney REwards Card as well... no need to move the points over to a GC when you already have them on the Reward Card

Another option is if you are staying on site you can charge your T-Rex meal to your room and pay the room charge with the Disney Rewards card. We charge just about everything we can to our room then use the Rewards card to pay that balance before our last day.
