I just wanted to pop in and say how much fun it is to read all about all of your experiences. We were supposed to be going to the games and the concert but my Mom suffered a heart attack and ended up with major heart and valve surgery. I am sad a little that we were not able to make it but know that I needed to be here for my Mom. So, I wanted to tell the Disney Powers that be how THANKFUL I was for them putting this event out there for the public to enjoy.

We were there last year and had a BLAST and are hoping that we will have the pleasure of going next year. If your reading Disney PLEASE bring back the DCG's to WWOS in 2009 and continue to keep it open to the public, PLEASE and THANK YOU!

Keep up the great reports and pics...my DD10 keeps boo hooing that she was not able to go to the parade, the games and the concert. She saw the pics of the JoBro's and nearly had a heart attack herself.

I heard this year that they were making everything bigger and better for TV purposes. I mean my favorite DC games event the past two years has been the Dunk Booth. I heard this year that they were going to have two of them, did anyone see this, if so is it true??


Also, does anyone know who got dunked in the dunk booth from each team??

WE had so much fun, my girls will remember this for a long time, we met some really nice people all week, all ages girls and guys. My girls got loads of atuographs and hugs, Kevin Jonas got them singing Thats Just The Way We Roll, it was cool there was a group of us and it was also being filmed.
Our fav people are Alyson, Jennifer, Chelsea and Jason Dolley, David Henry, Kevin Jonas and Joey Page.

The boy from Italy is Giulio. He is on pass the plate. Nice guy. Talked joked signed. Dont know anyone else though sorry

Unfortuntely, all of WEDWDW info is not useful this year. Last year was all true. This year all the reports were correct. It is not fan friendly.

Well,I THOUGHT LOL that my post on Page 171 would be my last post on this thread,but I have FINALLY LOL read all of the posts that were written while I was at WDW and I felt like I needed to update my post because I feel MUCH better about everyone's experiences now. I was so excited flying home Sunday because I had had such a GREAT experience at the DCG Concert,the DHS Motorcade on Wednesday,the Thursday taping,the Tuesday taping AND the Monday taping and was looking forward to reading about all the fun everyone else had enjoyed.I started reading where I had left the thread on April 27 and it was SO sad for me to read posts like the one above because I knew how much joed911 had wanted the trip to be great for his daughter and also other posts from great contributors to this thread like Osjah&Landon'sMom and SarahV17 saddened me.It really brought me down because I knew how much all of you guys had looked forward to DCG 2008. Now that I have finally read ALL of your posts I am SO happy that in the end it seems like almost EVERYBODY enjoyed DC Games 2008!I would have felt SO bad if any of our posters had just HATED DCG 2008,because I felt so positive about DCG 2008 from the beginning and always had felt like the changes to this year's DCG would not "ruin" them.That's it-I just wanted to let everybody know that I am SO happy that the early posts were not indicative of your final feelings about DCG 2008 and that you really enjoyed your time at DCG 2008! Just remember that the Disney Channel Games were "Great in '08" and the Disney Channel Games will be "Fine in '09"! Hal,has Disney Channel released the dates for DCG 2009 yet?

Next big thing is taking my kids to a Jonas Brothers Concert this summer.

Then, I'd *like* to go to the Macy Thanksgiving Day parade in NYC - every year my husband and I say we're going to go, and then stuff gets in the way. I'm really going to try this year.

After that, I'm thinking of trying to go to the Disney Christmas parade - my goal is to have Disney passes by then.

But, first I need to win the lottery! LOL

The Andreas that the poster is reffering to is a guy. I got him too, and he just signed as "Andreas". He is from Spain and I've tried to find out his full name. He was very sweet.

Got back from Disney last night. Thanks for everyones posts and updates they were really useful for me because I really didn't know what to expect. Went to the games on Thursday. Didn't get any autographs but enjoyed just being there and seeing all of the stars that I watch so much on TV. Met Maryann(mahipp). You were great really enjoyed meeting you. As she mentioned she traded me her seat tix for field. Thanks again I really appreciated it. Would have never survived down there with a 5 year old. It was also great because the seats were up towards the last row and we were right next to the Disney suite. Got to see all of the DC stars. Justin from Wizards of Waverly Place, Kyle Massey, Moises, Mitchell Musso, Brenda Song, Derek from Life With Derek, Dylan & Cole Sprouse to name a few. Kyle Massey waved to my son who was so excited. It was a great trip and I will never forget my first Disney trip. Can't wait until next year!

yeah there was two dunk things. I only remember that adrianne from the cheetah girls was the one getting dunked for the red team. they won but they still dunked her lol
