Disney Channel Games 2008???

Did a quick check on that site (MileyTV)… Here’s what I found in a post on April 1.

“And, Miley confirmed she will be at the Disney Channel games this year! I know lots of our members are going to be attending, including me, so I am hoping to set up a place for MileyTV members to meet and chill out! Sound good?”

It won't let me post the link ... go to mileytv.com and look through the posts until you find April 1.

Uh oh about all the people attending! But for any Miley fans, maybe that’s some hope.

I read this thread at everyday and I just want to say that I think you guys are great with all your info. This is our first visit to WDW on 4/27 to 5/4. We are coming from Canada and it would be great for my daughters ages 7 and 13 to be able to see some of the stars from their favourite shows. My 13 year old is of course very excited!!!!.
I am always looking for any information for fan fest also. I am also taking my laptop with us so that if any last minute information comes out we will all know right away.

I feel like I know you all. Again, you guys are great!!!

Also they have scheduled April 29-May2 to be filming of the games. All of those days.(Info from Casting Director). Also their is not a fanday scheduled just yet for DHS!

Isn't Hal GREAT!I have also emailed him a few times and he ALWAYS answers.I think maybe we should give him a break!LOL I first learned of him by reading a DCG report from him in the Orlando Sentinel during last year's DCG.Hal is THE "man" when it comes to DCG info!

WOW!Your FIRST trip to Walt Disney World AND it coincides with the Disney Channel Games!WOW! YOUR DAUGHTERS WILL REMEMBER THIS TRIP FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES!First of all WDW will will absolutely AMAZE you!The first time I went I basically walked around in total AWE of the place for a week!I would try to DESCRIBE WDW to you,but as I always say WDW cannot be described it has to be EXPERIENCED!It is incredible!I hope your daughters can handle all of the excitement of their first trip to WDW AND the excitement of seeing the Disney Channel Stars at THE SAME TIME! You are the best. I am thinking that when you say a fanday is not scheduled yet means it is in the works. Right? Also want to know if you are aware if any High School Musical stars are expected. Thanks again for sharing your info. I think I speak for all when I say you made my day!

Thanks for the "research"! When I learned that the filming of HM:The Movie would not coincide with the DCG I really thought there was a good chance Miley would participate. First of all,she is probably their biggest Star and I am sure Disney "encouraged" her to be there and I think she really WANTS to come.She seemed to really enjoy herself last year-think about it-she is a fifteen year old girl with a chance to go to WDW for an all-expenses paid week-long vacation and play silly games with other fun people her age-what's not to like?I think she also enjoyed the interaction with the International Disney Channel Stars last year.

Tuesday, April 29 10:00am - 7:00pm

Wednesday, April 30 NO GAMES ON THIS DAY

Thursday, May 01 10:00am – 7:00pm

Friday, May 02 TBD

*Disney Channel Games is a taped broadcast and subject to change at any time.

During these times, there will be a lot of activity on the field, which includes camera blocking,
testing of equipment and rehearsals that do NOT include celebrities. Disney Channel Stars
may not be on the field at all times, and autograph opportunities will be very limited.

There will be much starting and stopping of production with no entertainment.
Views may be obstructed due to location of sets.


SECURITY

All items brought into the stadium, including without limitation handbags, purses, backpacks, fanny packs, etc. are subject to inspection prior to admission.

CAMERAS & RECORDING DEVICES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
DO NOT BRING THESE ITEMS INTO THE STADIUM.




Tickets are not required to enter Champion Stadium to
watch the Games.

Contrary to internet reports, there are no plans for a Fan Fest in

Woohoo! We have info. Okay ... here's my question. Well, comment. It doesn't really have an answer. This is my 17th birthday trip ... All I want is pictures with a couple of the "stars." No autographs... Cameras aren't allowed in (which I already knew), and it sounds like there will be limited interaction with the stars. Bummer! End of whining... It'll all work out!

Yes,I think we now know for sure the Fan Day will be at Wide World of Sports. Why else would they specify "theme parks" and not just say;"There will not be a DCG Fan Day"? NOW WE NEED A LIST OF STARS!

Great attitude! I think the interaction with the DC Stars will be the SAME as last year.It was "limited" last year.Interaction was basically when they were entering and leaving the field,entering or leaving Champion Stadium etc.NONE of this year's changes should affect those opportunities.Hopefully you can get your pictures at Fan Day. By the way,HAPPY BIRTHDAY!Are you also going to the Parks on your trip?If so,don't forget to get a Birthday Pin at Guest Relations and wear it!

Hi everyone,

Has anyone ever been to the games before? See my dilemna is this is our first trip to WDW, so I'm trying to plan our visits to all the parks, but now all I can think about is trying to have my girls see some of the disney stars. Should I just follow my original plans and maybe try to a hit and miss with the games because I just read the DCG schedule and I do not want to waste precious time trying to see the stars, because you really have no idea when they will be around. Any advice would be great.
I will keep 4/30 open just in case for fanfest.
