Disney Channel Games 2008???

In case everyone has not seen it there is a recent thread on the Theme Parks board that has some great information.A very knowledgeable poster on that thread posted that Laughing Place announced the dates for the DCG about a week and a half ago.They are the same dates as Hal Boedecker announced back in January-April 28-May 3. Also the same poster posted that Selena Gomez has announced on her MySpace page that she will be at WDW April 26-May 4 to participate in the DCG.Without official confirmation from Disney,I think we are as close as we can get to being one-hundred per-cent certain that the dates are April 28-May 3.One VERY interesting part of the Laughing Place announcement was a possible FanFest on April 30!

Disney Channel Games Concert 2008 tickets can now be requested at the Passholder website.Up to six tickets can be requested per Passholder.The Concert will be held May 3.The acts performing are The Cheetah Girls,Jonas Brothers and others-I hope "others" means Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus!

WEDWDW - I asked you a question on the Theme Parks thread too.

Are the 6 tickets you can request at the AP site for the concert or to get in to 'work' the games? Is that 6 per day or 6 total to be used on different days?

I just bought my AP today but I don't have my membership number to log into the website yet. Will get that tomorrow from Ticket Services. Hope they are not gone!!!

I have been checking here daily waiting for the release of 2008 info. This is the only place I know of. So far they have not updated the info. Hopefully we will hear something soon!!

Try just www.DisneyChannelGames.com .I have been able to access the site that way. There doesn't seem to be any information on the Disney Channel home page.

Yes, It says the games are coming to WWS April 29-May3. The concert is Sat. May 3. You need a ticket for the concert and they will be available to the general public from that site after March 25!!! It also says the concert will feature Cheetah Girls, Jonas Brothers and Other surprise musical guests!!!

Just found this board, WOW!!!

I have four daughters (ages 7, 6, and twins 2.) We will be there on May 3rd and I was thinking of going to this concert. Should I jsut take the older two and leave the twins back at the room with my mom? Any info or advice is welcome!

The concert that everyone is talking about is on Sat May 3 with gates opening at 7 p.m. The Expo is Friday from 12-7 and Sat from 10-5.

I plan on going to the Expo on Friday to avoid any possible "early campers"

The Expo is the the pre-race packet pick up and information/exhibits for the Minnie Marathon Weekend - a 5k race and a 15k race. Stuff revolves around women's health for this one. Doesn't have anything to do with the Disney Channel Games....

The 15k (9.3 miles) is the "Women Run the World" and it is a blast. Finishers get medals shaped like Minnie's head, complete with bow

The 5k (3.1) miles is Go Red for Women. Finishers get medals that look like the Red Dress symbol the Heart Assoc users for women's heart health.

This is just speculation,but with the Disney Channel Games being held in Champion Stadium,my best guess would be that the Race Expo would be held in the Milk House.Wow,WWoS is really going to be a happening place!
