I'm a cast member and it took awhile for her to send the confirmation. We were allowed to apply for tickets starting the 24th and the promotion is still going.

The DIS UPDATES is still reporting March 29 as the date while DisneyChannelGames.com is still reporting March 27 as the date.

Tell her to go online to "The Hub." It is the cast member website. From there, she can find the info. They are doing the promotion now. You send the info and they reply with the confirmation. It doesn't take long.

They are no longer doing the castmember tickets.

if we just want to see the games (not the concert) do we need a ticket? i heard that you have to have a wristband to be on the field during the games is that true?

There are no tickets needed to attend the daily tapings.They are free and open to the public.There are "extras" who are allowed down on the field to cheer during the taping of the actual games.They are the only ones allowed on the field.Everyone else watches from the stands or a grassy area down the third base line. I do not know how Disney obtains the "extras".

This is the e-mail I just received about the games.

"We are no longer accepting requests for tickets from Annual Pass Holders or Cast Members for the Disney Channel Games Concert 08. We begin taking requests from the general public on 3/29."

DON'T WAIT UNTIL SUNDAY! Technically 12:00:01AM Saturday IS March 29 so it may be worth giving it a shot then.I don't know if they will have the email address "open" that early,but that IS March 29.

I read that last year you could just walk in and watch. Does anyone know for sure if it will be the same this year? I was thinking of going over on Friday to watch the games. Also, does anyone know what time they start during the week?

Just wait until tomorrow and request again.Did you receive a return email?You should have received an auto-return email telling you requests will not be accepted until March 29.

The daily tapings will definitely be open to the public. The tapings last year lasted most of the morning/afternoon hours.No information has been released concerning the Games yet other than DCG Concert information and the dates for the Games.Hopefully more information,such as a list of Stars participating,will be released tomorrow when the General Public Concert tickets become available.
